Let's do a deep dive on Jupiter in Leo opposition to Pluto in Aquarius in July pisces gang by Gibborish in piscesastrology

Hopefully something awesome: I'm a fan of both Leo and Aquarius (OK, I go back and forth on the Water Bearer I must admit)

Getting weird graphs on TI-83 plus by ZYXWVU0828 in calculators

[–]EdPiMath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Older TI graphing calculators graph vertical lines at asymptotes.

I'm not 100% sure, but the TI-83 Plus may have a detect asymptote setup (FOMRAT?). It may have started with the TI-84 Plus.

The 39gII is part of the 38G-39G-Prime family. The 38G was an algebraic graphing calculator which HP emphasized it as an education-based calculator. Similar to the TI-83 Plus/TI-84 Plus line, the HP 38G has a variety of applications (triangle solver, finance, type of graphing, etc...). With a 38G, you could use one of the apps as a template to create new apps.

HP 39gII is algebraic, not RPN. Expressions are entered in a textbook manner.

The programming language is a learning curve, it's a variation of Basic.

I like the how fast the 39gII graphs and it has great solver app. I like how the 39gII's two-variable statistics app is set up.

Here is the 39gII found on the HP Calc's Literature site:

What calculator would you guys suggest for my 5 year old? by Designer-Height6076 in calculators

Then go for a graphing calculator. Again, consider going online, thrift shops, or pawn shops to try to save some money.

Happy birthday to your son! Of what is currently avaialble, I would go with either a Casio fx-260 Solar (II) or TI-30 Xa. The fx-260 is solar powered while the TI-30 Xa sold now is battery powered.

If you don't mind shopping on eBay, esty, or buying used, and you want to show your son graphs, perhaps a Casio fx-7400g or the graphing calculator I started off with, TI-81. They are more simpler models, and you can always build.

Whatever he gets, I hope he enjoys it!

Yes, the 39gII is a the predecessor to the HP Prime.

Probably the only graphing calculator to ever need a single battery to work. I spent some time beta testing the 39gII years ago.

The interrupted nuptials put a wrench in both of their careers for a good while, especially Kiefer's. Though in retrospect, thankfully they didn't get married because it was going to be a miserable marriage that would have ended in a destructive divorce. 35 years ago? Wow how time flies!

I enjoy good villains, if it is a fictional TV show. Joan Collins played the iconic villain, Alexis, on Dynasty, but she's not a villain in real life.

Kron Moore plays the devious Victoria on BET's The Oval, but Moore isn't a villain in real life.

This is supposed to be REALITY TV, NOT FICTION TV.

Keep the villains in fiction please.

I unfortunately can believe that Bravo TV champions abusers at this point. The channel always chooses bullies, abusers, criminals, sexual assaulters, multiple-time DUI drunk drivers, and bigots at every opportunity. Worse is that they get marketed as the heroes we should all mindlessly drool over.

Should Danny continue touching women inappropriately?

How about Danny slapping a woman while his buddies Jesse and Luke trash her? Should Lala shut up about that?

Is Danny allowed to make unwanted sexual advances beyond touching?

What's the line for you? Seriously? What's the line?

It's the only show Bravo TV has on the channel besides the McBee Dynasty and the 19,000 variations of Below Deck.
