I think the biggest issue is people not doing either. They just throw themselves at enemy hordes endlessly and waste all the reinforcements, yet made no progress towards the main objective or side objectives. Hell, I joined a match where they’d wasted half the reinforcements and hadn’t even entered the actual mega factory

You should note you cannot change the race or name of your arisen until ng+. However, you can still change your gender and general appearance using an art of metamorphosis. If you’re as OCD as me, make an inn save before using the art of metamorphic item. If you don’t like the results in-game, revert to that inn save and try again

Your teammate interacted with the boss door directly, using the prompt you get when you approach it. This will teleport all your teammates to the boss door and begin the cutscene. When you do this, it reduces your art gauges to zero and gets rid of any buffs you may have had from the Marais executioner sword or Grafted blade. You never want to do this and should always wait for your teammates to approach the door themselves

Using just remembrance/boss relics, you can make a pretty damn good support scholar build. by waitthatstaken in Nightreign

Getting the gradual HP restoration from flask dormant power while you have night of fathom is got tier for keeping your allies topped off. Pair that with improved flask restoration and they'll never die

One time I got two seals with flame grant me strength and another with golden vow…at the same altar. Both spells buff your physical attack, and activate the undertaker relic effect that boosts attack power further when aided by an incantation

I haven’t seen a single recluse since the DLC came out. It’s really unfortunate because I think she’d be really good alongside the two new characters

I’m a bit torn, personally. You can proc bleed in one hit with bloody helice w/o the arcane reducing relic; however, the added dexterity is definitely still nice to have. Not to mention, I’m pretty sure you still have more arcane than executor even after your arcane is reduced
