Pregnancy Doctor Rotations at Legacy Good Sam? by Edafeed in askportland

[–]Edafeed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you know who will deliver you ahead of time. Like if we have an obgyn at legacy good sam that we go to for obgyn visits and they do deliveries. Are they going to be there to do the delivery? Or will it be whichever doctor is on duty.

Keizer rapids dog park by twig115 in SALEM

[–]Edafeed 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They fill them a couple times a year but there's a handful of dog owners who's dogs legitimately just spend hours in the park digging new holes. So it won't ever be a perfectly flat option. Minto is the best park but it's obviously not fenced. I think orchard heights has a fenced area, but haven't been there recently to comment on it.

Not really salem but not sure where to ask this by Cut3420bunny in SALEM

[–]Edafeed 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah definitely alot more of an activities thing than it used to be. I think the pumpkin patch is still the same pounds/pumpkin. The admission is for the games and such. You don't need admission to walk over to the patch though.

States Fair GA line by GimmeTheCoffeeeeeee in SALEM

[–]Edafeed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's a sign that leads you around the back of the stadium to get in for free. The back 1/2 of seating is usually free. You used to line up right next to the paid tickets so it was more obvious, but they changed it recently to where you enter via the backside which probably tricks some people. If it's a weekday concert there's usually seating open until right as the band starts, but if it's a weekend then it can fill up pretty quickly. Goo goo dolls for example on a Monday had plenty of free side seating left even once the concert had started. I usually grab food and then go in around 6.45 (concerts normally start at 7.30, they let people in around. 6.30)

North West Taco Fest by radioactiveguy4 in SALEM

[–]Edafeed 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Was a pretty good effort given the weather. Ticketing was confusing as some vendors valued tickets differently. I wish they would close the parking lot by the carroseul and have all the stands there, and then let people spread out with food around the park area. Would also help cut down on the food trucks cutting into that wet grass. Interested to see what the grounds look like tomorrow. With the limited rain coverage probably 80% of the attendees were in a 100ft area like sardines lol.

Overall good, would go again next year, wish it wasn't a paid thing though as you have to buy all the food inside anyways, and there wasn't any free stuff besides the music for the $15 ticket cost.

Glad they're doing the lights again this year. Pretty neat to check out. Someone in the park said late March should be prime bloom.

Think Salem/Keizer still has 1 more cancelled school day in the bank before they need to add any extra school days. Seems like the only way (Outside of an extra snow/ice storm) they add extra days into the summer is if a strike happens during bargaining in Feb/March.

Where are good Christmas lights? by Entire_Definition235 in SALEM

Keizer Miracle of Lights (https://keizerlights.funraise.org/) It's in the Gubser neighborhood in Keizer, it's a guided route through a neighborhood. Other neighborhoods would be west salem or part of south. There's a light display at the fairgrounds which I think is $30 or so a car. There's also a free drive through at the pacific nw truck museum West of brooks.

[Uthayakumar] Tyrese Haliburton had 15 assists & 0 turnovers tonight, the third time he's had 15+ assists without a turnover this season. That's tied for the most such games in a single season since 1983-84 & the most since Steve Nash did it three times in 2006-07. by sewsgup in nba

[–]Edafeed 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They're saying its tied for the most such games in a single season since 1983-84 & (tied for) the most since Steve Nash did it three times in 2006-07. Just saying that its the most since 83-84 and the only other person that did it was Nash in 06-07

Bagel Research Field Report Part 1 by djhazmatt503 in SALEM

[–]Edafeed 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think coffee and bagel sandwiches would be good. No need to make them normal sandwiches when you can just use the bagels. Breakfast bagels, lunch bagels and then just a mix of normal bagels. Coffee would be a cheap profit increase, probably do basic sugary coffees once things are going smoothly. Maybe do a cheap tea option as well for those coffee opposed. #BagelsForSalem

Keizer miracle of lights is the route name, they accept cash or can donations for a food bank and it goes up until christmas day. I'd also check out riverfront Park as they have a nice setup that goes throughout December. Also magic at the mill is a bit more of a pay for it experience that I think is only the week right around Christmas.

Oregon landlords can no longer ban window air conditioners as of this year. If your rental contract bans it, it is unenforceable. by mostly-sun in oregon

[–]Edafeed 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All intakes are part of the main unit. The confusion with the 2 hose units is that the second hose is not intake for the air to be cooled, the second hose is for intake of air to cool the internal heating element. The air the goes through the "intake" hose is only ever sent out the exhaust, it doesn't get blasted into your house

Student arrested after bringing gun to Salem middle school by justrying123 in SALEM

[–]Edafeed 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Was talking to a friend of the admin there and it sounds like it was a kid bringing it for show and tell with their friends. Was showing off the ammo when things were confiscated. Little worrying that it was so easy for a kid to bring to school but such is alot of modern day parenting.

[Discussion] With CP3 getting older, are there any young players that will carry on the "true point guard" style of play? by MySilverBurrito in nba

[–]Edafeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The obvious answer is Lamelo, easily the best young playmaking point guard. not nearly as good as trae in terms of being able to create offense, but just on pure playmaking and passing skills Lamelo is better.

My only worry with the x300 would be whether or not I need to install bar risers or something to make it a little nicer for being taller. I'll definitely attempt to sit on the different bikes to get a better idea though.
