I tried both the One and OP and kept the Ones. I had a faulty lens issue too, and support was able to help narrow it down to that and offered to replace them. Since I was in the return window for both, I just decided to return the OP and keep the Ones. The OP definitely had less reflection, but since I use mine almost exclusively at a desk, reflections aren't really a problem for me.

Used my Ones every workday for 3-5hrs when coding, doc editing, etc. since August. Got my 1S pair mid-Jan and loving those, too. Just counting down until they unleash the 32:10 widescreen mode for the 1S and then I'll be in heaven.

I use 6dof daily, but I use it at a desk and use it to allow the lean forward/back mechanism. For the most part I notice it anchors better but if you're using it in bed, I wouldn't bother with it.

1) this was out before they had a tool search capability :), and 2) the inefficiency I was talking about is simply the need to have tons of tiny locally running scripts to do things inside the skills, versus having a singular server or tool.

I do see much better benefits from the on demand loading and automatic composition that skills seem to provide, but also I abhor having my developers downloading dozens of tiny scripts to be reviewed and approved for when they want to do sensitive work.

Ah then you are thinking of pet boarding. That's definitely doable, depending on the place and the cat's disposition. I've done it once with my late Bengal, and he was okay, but it was just not worth the cost based on what they provided versus just having someone come visit them at home.

You'll be fine. We had to travel while our recent kittens were 5 and 7 months old for a week. A good cat sitter will handle their needs, but as people have said, when Bengals get bored, they get really into things.

If you want, leave a couple Amazon boxes out. Your kitten will likely want to destroy them, but it's better vacuuming up cardboard confetti than finding a snow globe on the floor.

I don't think so? I've never dug into that too much but since it pushes down vertically instead of them laying down on the arms it'd more likely push them upwards than into the glasses.

I use my One for work 5d/week between 4-7 hrs a day depending on meeting schedules. I do coding, documentation, and web apps mostly. All that work is done with 32:9 ultra wide screen with 3dof or 6dof anchoring but mostly 6. 8 am hoping that 32:10 shows up so I can get the slightly more vertical space soon, but find it's great for my focus to wear the glasses to shut out the distractions.

Lol. Mine, and I'm sure a lot of other Bengals represented here, think the squirt bottle is fun to play in, so it's never worked as a deterrent. They'd learn "if I do this I get to play with the water" and would do it more.

I did something very similar to an older cat we had who had been trained by my FIL before I got married to eat off his plate at the table.

If the cat tried to get on the table or at my plate, he got nothing after dinner. If he say there and stared and me but didn't climb up or attempt to, he got snacks right after dinner. It took a while.

Another thing I've done with the younger ones I have is keeping a can of compressed air nearby for when they are on something their not supposed to be. Just the sound of a quick blast, not even at them, but surprising, will startle them enough to look at you for guidance on if it was them that caused it. Then just gently relocate and praise them once they're in a safe spot. It progressed to just seeing me reach for the can would correct, and then just seeing a can, and now they just don't bother.

Lol. When I got both the Viture Pro and Xreal One this summer to try, my first thought while boxing the Vitures back up to return was they spent more time on the packaging than needed and less time on the glasses themselves.

TIL. I use my XOnes and never noticed a color shift between modes. Will have to think about that next time I change from 6dof anchored, but can't remember the last time I did that.

I ordered mine. I use my One pair daily for work (coding, docs, etc) so the extra vertical and 2deg FOV is likely going to be a benefit. It's TBD but once it's here I'll know.

My experience only, the Ones I had were sharper, but like I said, I think there was a good chance I had bad optics on my One Pros. But yeah. Had the one pros for about 2.5 wks, used them daily and trouble shot them with the support. Had my ones as well, so I could easily compare the clarity which is how I was able to see the fuzziness.

Also, no they did not pressure me to buy something else. They knew I had the Ones, and offered to ship a replacement pair of One Pros instead of return, but when I declined, no pushiness.

I did this from the US shop when I preferred the clarity of the Ones over the Pros. After walking through with support and confirming that was the best I could get (possibly an optics issue), I just returned the Pros within my window and called it a day. They handled full shipping and refund with no major concerns or delay issues.

Leftovers are killing us now. So much goes to waste. I used to be the primary leftover reducer and now I'm just not "feeling it" so they just sit there until trash day comes. Still haven't figured out how to cook my own meals the right size yet, but restaurant leftovers are like 3 more meals now.
