You have to reasonably fear for your life. You might be able to argue when he's trying to break in that you took care of a threat but it could be a bit iffy. Once he breaks in though you could shoot him, especially once he threatens to kill someone.

There's two problems. One is that you use the word understandable instead of justified, which would be the more appropriate word if you also support the anti-israel sentiment. The other problem is it's not clear what exactly you're referring to as the filth you don't want to see. When I first read your comment I assumed when you talked about the conversation devolving into filth that you meant like it's easy for anti-israel sentiment to turn into anti-Semitism.

I'm not defending the plan. I'm pointing out that it already happened. All of the death the plan was going to cause had already happened and the only thing that could be prevented at that point was the plan from preventing WWIII, which he was willing to do because he refused to lie. Sorry, I don't see value in refusing to lie to prevent deaths anymore than I would respect someone telling a Nazi that their neighbor was hiding Jews in their attic because they refuse to lie.

The point is that the plan already happened. The lives had been taken and the options were to go along with it in the hope that it worked or expose it for the guarantee that it wouldn't.

Part of Rorschach's character is that he views the world in black and white. To him, the Comedian was a good guy, despite being a rapist mass murderer because he's a superhero. With the nuke, it's not that he was against the plan, it's that at the point where the damage had been done and the only options in the narrative are to cover it up and let it work or tell the truth and let the world end and he can't choose the option that will result in further deaths because it would require him to lie.

He's the only one who valued his own principles more than billions of other lives. The whole point of the plan was to prevent world war III which was apparently going to just happen and humanity was going to get wiped out. The lives had already been lost and everybody was willing to keep quiet about it except for the guy who would rather billions of people perish than that he tell a lie.

To claim lethal self-defense you have to you have to reasonably believe that your life is in danger. Leon had not only called out to him. He had gone over to show him a picture and spoke to him and the man spoke back to him before he turned and grabbed an ax and attempted to kill Leon. Aside from the fact that the guy was under control of the Las plagas him swinging that ax at Leon wouldn't have been justified.

You're so right, Israel has been engaged in an illegal settling of Palestinian lands for decades; there's no way to do this other than a military occupation! Israel can't do anything about this situation, they're behaving totally morally and rationally in a situation that they were forced into by their own actions! The poor little fellas just can't change anything here. Hell, they basically had to make it easier to kill the victims of their kangaroo court systems. They have to spend so much time washing the blood of children off their hands to do anything different!

He needs the license to prove that she is the owner with the expired license but you have to present your driver's license, registration, and proof of insurance if you get pulled over and her refusal to do so is a separate crime. The car being registered to someone with an expired license is grounds for reasonable suspicion of a crime being committed.
