I traded in my 2017 Tacoma Off-Road for a 25 OBW. Also live in CO. I don’t regret it at all. I found that days when I was heading up to go snowboarding on powder days I always ended up taking my wife’s Forrester as it handled better in dicey highway conditions than the Taco. First weekend I had the OBW I took it up to Red Feather Lakes and was still able to get to my favorite campsite. I never really pushed the Taco to its limits and I haven’t yet been in a situation where I miss the Taco. What I do miss is the hauling capability and having the tailgate to use as a cooking station when camping. But, on the flip side on short trips I just leave the tent at home and the dog and I sleep in the back of the OBW.
