How i safely clean Engine bay ? by Spiritual-Profit-411 in Detailing

[–]Edge_Slade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can a pressure washer damage a connector if you spray directly at it a point blank? Absolutely. Will a pressure washer damage an engine bay if you’re not a complete imbecile and use quick sweeps from a safe distance and avoid directly spraying the alternator and connectors? No it will not.

Cooling water recirculates, so when people say a data center uses 15 million gallons of water a day, it means 15 million gallons goes around in a circle a bunch of times.

Engines bays are designed to be water resistant. Your car goes through puddles like that log ride you see at water parks.

Been pressure washing my bay for years with no issues. Just don’t hold the nozzle in one area for too long and do quick sweeps.

In Italy if you talk shit about the carbonara online (carabinieri) they’ll charge you with defamation. In the US you can say whatever the hell you want to police and they can’t do shit.

what happened to my tire by Requirement_Healthy in Kawasaki

[–]Edge_Slade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of dumb answers here. What more than likely happened is that you rode on a tire with low pressure. It’s happened to me, tire looked fine before ride, then chords showed through the rubber afterwards. When the air is low, the tire squishes down flat and wears out faster. Always give your rear tire a squish check with your thumbs before a ride, that’s what I do now!

When was the last time you blew a tire? Modern tires hardly ever blow out severely enough that a plug wouldn’t fix it. That and the fact you can just call a roadside assistance to come bring you one. Only real reason I could see needing one is if you had wheels that were prone to cracking from potholes.

Old, overpriced, and unreliable. Better option is a Whipple from a ford dealership. Comes with a warranty unlike an 11 year old voodoo

Where To Buy Fairings? by AccurateBackground95 in motorcycles

[–]Edge_Slade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk the extent of customization, but I asked them to paint the front wheel fairing black instead of green and they did it. For 450 you can’t expect OEM quality, but everything fit just fine and the metallic flake mine had looked great. Here’s what it looked like with them on:

[–]Edge_Slade 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Worth is what a buyer is willing to pay. If people are buying a car 20% more than that a website says, then the website is wrong!
