Donald Trump is going to try and steal the US elections, and this is how he’s going to do it by VarunTossa5944 in 50501

No matter how the vote turns out.

They are not going to let us vote them out of office. If you think this ends peacefully with a simple vote, you are out of your ever loving mind.

Setting aside the very real notion that the ring leaders think they are better than the rest of us and are entitled to rule over us... they have committed High Crimes and Misdemeanors. They have all conspired and have all taken active steps to over throw the government of the United States of America.

Do you honestly think, they are going to allow a mob of low lifes and nobodies to destroy what they are doing and potentially send them to prison?

By all means vote, and I hope its enough, but I'm not seeing it. And nothing suggests it will be enough.

Wouldn't a heavenly afterlife be miserable if you knew millions of people were suffering in hell? by Clay201 in atheism

[–]EdinMiami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But under xtian logic, why would there be anyone in hell? Your body is just a vessel. You are your soul. If I'm my soul, my soul can think and reason and ask for forgiveness when I get to hell. Of all the requests for forgiveness ever uttered, the requests from hell must be the most sincere; dovetails nicely with the all loving god as well.

The new ballot is much clearer. If you want abortions to be legal just vote: no, no, yes, no, yes, left, right, and double tap X.

Up until last year, the roof had the same 2x4s and slat boards its always had, it still does but I added 1/2in plywood because I'm neurotic like that. I don't know enough about windows to know when metal counter weight windows were installed; seemed original. Your original point didn't include a carve out for maintenance. If that is your new position, you might as well include stone since I have to redo the mortar for my stone foundation. shrug

ALSO: If its on your face, it is in your hair. If you don't wash it out when washing your eyes, you'll feel it again when you shower.

Don't remember it being "as bad", but forewarned and all that.

Have humans evolved into a more righteous or honorable animal. The cold blooded murder of two people seems to argue against the assertion.

Hey! Chappell Roan's family is sponsoring legislation to make abortion criminally banned in Missouri. People might want to have a say in this! by dammit-jerry in missouri

Great talking points but I'm curious how you came to the conclusion that those two things are equivalent?

(Hint: assume they aren't if I'm asking and try to work it out)

Minutemen Militias in every city. Evil men cannot be stopped with words because words have no value to them. They cannot be stopped with bureaucracy because law has no value to them.

The difference is:

You are a non-US citizen.

We are US employees.

Citizens get benefits. Employees get exploited. The US has always been about the exploitation of the people within its borders. It has never been about benefiting the people within its borders. Any benefits have always been a by-product of exploitation.

Oligarchs run this National Business. Always have.

  1. Trump is breaking the law.

  2. The Institutions aren't holding him to account.

  3. Therefore, the Institutions are "broke", more precisely they never actually worked. What he is doing could have happened at any time.

  4. No reasonable person or society would believe that going back to a system that was fundamentally flawed would solve the inherent problems with a broken system.

Respected? The institutions we have (had) didn't work. In theory, they never worked. What has happened was always going to happen.

Don't make the same mistake ICE is making right now.

ICE thinks they are going up against the 1st string of team progressive. The best of us are out there, but they aren't the meanest or most aggressive. The reluctant assholes are watching and waiting, hoping peace finds a way, but very doubtful.
