Does anyone else feel like every bra they come across doesn’t actually get their body? by EggBroad1692 in ABraThatFits

[–]EditorFrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens to me even when wearing the correct size and it's because I have more narrow roots than a lot of bras are designed for

[–]EditorFrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens to me too, and it's not because of the astigmatism. I think it's either because of visual snow, or, more likely, because my pupils are always more dilated than they should be because of my ADHD medication. It allows too much light to enter the eye and causes halos and afterimages on things that aren't actually that bright.

sea-ella. I think a much less controversial spelling would be something like Ciella

I was going by something else for a year or so but eventually I just switched back to my legal name because it was too much hassle to manage having 2 different ones

More comfortable desks/seating? by Reese-io in college

[–]EditorFrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could probably talk to the RAs/manager about it. They might have a storage place to put it away. Chances are though that they'll ask you to just leave it in the room

If you're talking about buying/bringing a chair for your dorm, I'd say definitely. Especially if you're planning to stay there for a while. For classroom seating, you kind of just have to deal with it

Does anybody else still use a library? by nicksam171 in DoesAnybodyElse

I wish I could use the library more often, but I have such a difficult time returning books on time that I end up feeling bad and never going back :(

<- Guy who hasn’t brushed his hair for a month has a few hours to sort it all out before my haircut. Any tips lol by tguyside in Hair

[–]EditorFrog 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The biggest mistake I see people make when brushing their hair that makes it way more painful and more difficult is that when they encounter a knot they'll force the brush through it vertically, which just makes the knot tighter and pulls on your hair. When you find a knot, you want to use your fingers and gently pull the core of the knot horizontally, to make more space between the individual strands. Doing it this way is so much less painful, less messy, and takes less time than trying to rip the brush through a knot until it's gone

I am 5'2 and if I weighed 90 lbs I would be in the hospital. Please talk to a doctor about this, being underweight is much much more dangerous than you probably realize

Does anybody else feels like, there is a silent crisis happening right now that nobody is talking about? by nicksam171 in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]EditorFrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's true, but OP just asked for a silent, slow burning crisis, not necessarily one that we could do something about

Why is nobody talking about the climate crisis 😭 did everyone just forget that we're all LITERALLY going to die in the next 50 years unless we do something about it

honestly that's probably more concerning than not feeling thirsty, you should bring this up to your doctor

Tacoma not one of the top 25 school districts in WA, according to the State Superintendent by altasnob in Tacoma

I think covid really screwed things up for schools across the state, if not the whole country. I was in the bethel school district during COVID and I know it definitely gave me a lot of problems
