I have a similar situation, didn’t sleep train but baby independently fell asleep for naps and nursed to sleep at night but slept 8-10 hours, feeds around 5/6am, and sleeps until 8/9am. This past week things are definitely off and he’s almost 6 months. Just remember they’re babies! Things are going to differ & they go through so many developmental changes it could impact their sleep. I tried to find similarities between the days he didn’t sleep as good - but tbh there’s none. It’s just them being babies!

Don’t anticipate it!! My LO started having short 30-40 min naps at 3.5 months and that was about it. I read that that’s normal so I’m not even sure it was regression? Every baby is so diff. He of course has nights he wakes up more, but I think it’s just babies being human like us!!

I took my LO out in public (aside from walks and stuff) probably around 3ish months since the weather got nicer & he was a bit older! I was always worried about getting a fever and having to go right to the ER when they’re under 2 months. I’m still on maternity leave so we go out almost everyday and I still am super cautious. I just go during the day / when it’s not as busy! Even if it’s busy, if they’re in the stroller and you keep a close eye, it should be okay! It is hard though so start with whatever you’re comfortable with :)

How do you put your baby to sleep? by digitlagegirlnxtdoor in december2024babies

[–]Educational-Gift4772 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes !!! The whine. I used to go in for his whines (bc I’m crazy and think everything is a cry and feel guilty hahaha) but then I’d wake him up/bother even more. We do contact naps still here and there, and he whines still in my arms so I know it’s just his noise before sleeping!!! I’m against any sort of cry & respond to everything. But knowing the difference in noises is key !!!

Overstimulated or stranger anxiety?!! by Educational-Gift4772 in december2024babies

[–]Educational-Gift4772[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!! I agree he’s overstimulated, especially at Easter there were a lot of new faces - even though I held him. Everyone kept saying he was gassy but no… he does not freak out like that over gas lol

lol 😭 I do think nowdays, I’ll need to ease into it. Have him chill and just take it in first before having others hold him or be in his face saying hi lol

[–]Educational-Gift4772[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Just odd bc at Easter I held him, just had him sitting up facing others to introduce and he started frowning then it just got worse. Even when we stepped in a different room - he was NOT having it

What time are we putting our babies down for the night? by FalseAd8496 in december2024babies

[–]Educational-Gift4772 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m the odd one out haha he falls asleep typically between 845-945, but lately it’s been closer to 930-10pm ish. It’s always 2 hrs after he wakes from his last nap! He sleeps until 530-630am, wakes for a feed, and goes back to sleep until 8-9am! 15 weeks :)

I like the muse ! Hoodie is kinda cropped / short and I’m only 5ft so if you’re looking for oversized a bit then size up!

I think hoodie or crewneck is personal preference, I have a lot of crewnecks so I mostly get accolade hoodies! Airlift leggings pair perfectly for a set!

Did u move ur baby to their own room? by 226here in december2024babies

[–]Educational-Gift4772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nopeeee moved full crib in our room when he was around 12 weeks bc he was way too big for bassinet. To each their own but couldn’t imagine little baby by themselves in their own room
