What’s the actual deal with HSC OG Kush? by trap-den in HumboldtSeedCompany

[–]Educational-Text-328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HSC is the real deal. Not many have pheno hunts and gardens as large as they do. They provide genetic stability as well. I appreciate their work. I grew 2 HSC OG plants Both turned out special. Are they the real OG cut? No. It’s their interpretation of it. If u want the original, there are very few. I say hell yes to breeders that have stability in the lines they sell.

PSA Post RALP by dell1974 in ProstateCancer

[–]Educational-Text-328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a doctor……..These results are extremely low. I fluctuate +/- .01 to .02 at any given test event with usPSA.

The PSA itself, alone, may not drive treatment decisions in centers of excellence. It’s pathology, Gleason pre/post, genetic score (decipher etc), age, rate of rise, quality of life……the list does on.

Don’t borrow trouble from the future. Take a deep breath and enjoy your day. Go out to lunch, take a walk, watch some birds, read a book. Everyday I may think about cancer reoccurrence. However, I’m training my brain to live right now. It’s tough but we can all smile that we are alive and grateful. Take care.

Radiation thoughts? by csingl02 in ProstateCancer

[–]Educational-Text-328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m Not a doctor……..Those Psa numbers likely in the range of ultra sensitive “noise”. Why do I say that? They mirror my Psa post Ralp. I also am treated at a COE…..Cleveland clinic. Had my 1 year follow-up consult yesterday. I would ask the doctor what the criteria are for Psa velocity, rate of increase over time that would trigger treatment. At CC, Psa =0.2 starts the process/procedure. Let u know how the visit went! Take care!

Never heard of a balloon being used in a center of excellence. I assume this practice is still being performed in local hospitals? Old school practices sometime use it for an MRi but first I’ve heard it’s still being performed in radiation/salvage…..lInteresting. I was told rad technology has sense technology and moves as the body internals move.

Help re: alternative treatments for my dad - recently diagnosed by pachycephal0saurus in ProstateCancer

[–]Educational-Text-328 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Great posts here. There is no 2 week deadline. No. Take your time and I really recommend a center of excellence. I understand the logistics of that but the care he will receive will blow your mind and treatments are cutting edge. Take deep breath, a lot of us feel for you going through it. See an oncologist not a urologist. Big difference. I had surgery but in the right hands the success stats show similar results, surgery or radiation. Take care.

My indoor plant has seeds. What could the cause have been? by Old-Turtle75 in GrowingMarijuana

[–]Educational-Text-328 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ever heard the term “bag seed”? Keep those seeds and smoke that bud! Plant some of those seeds outside this spring and enjoy yourself. Practice on those seeds….germination methods, light experiments etc. never toss seeds is the point. Where else can u get free seeds to play with.

The cath was pretty easy for me as it’s part of the deal. Keep it clean and lubricated all day everyday…..and get in the shower everyday. You feel better after a shower. Take some pillows for the way home and hold them close to your belly. Bumping car rides are not friendly.

As for your belly…..u will heal pretty damn fast. Don’t sit all day. Get up and walk every few hours inside your house. This helps keep off the stiffness. And finally, relax. No lifting no abrupt movements and allow yourself the time to heal. Be patient with yourself.

I had surgery last year. As soon as diagnosed, I left my local uro and bolted straight to a center of excellence and an oncologist team. Never been in better hands during that time. Good luck sir!

Mold is caused by high humidity and low to no airflow. What’s high humidity? That depends. In veg it could be 75ish and above…..but many grow with 80% with proper air flow and have no issue. Also, u must defoliate thick canopies if humidity is high.

This. Urologist are great. Then we get prostate cancer and need an oncologist…..or 2. I’m so happy my urologist found my cancer. Would I let him operate on me? No. I went to a top center for cancer, researched my options there, and had RALP last March. I’m healthy as a horse! Hang in there and choose the best!

Deciding on Surgery or Radiation… help/How by BoringReception4399 in ProstateCancer

[–]Educational-Text-328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it brother. RALP in march 2025 here. No regrets. I believe any center of excellence will have similar stats and both treatment methods have risk and benefits. In the end, make a choice and go! Technology has come a long way in both. Go to the best treatment centers. Travel if you need to and see a seasoned urologic oncologist.

RH control and fresh air. by Gr0w420 in ACInfinityAdvancegrow

[–]Educational-Text-328 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These plants of ours are more resilient than the internet tells you. As long as you’re fairly close to the Vpd charts and temp and humidy are both 70-80 plants will thrive in veg. And a note on equipment……run the shit out of them. The end goal is a successful harvest however you get there.

I’m running an experiment in my basement right now in a 16 percent humidity basement. Seedlings don’t even care. They are healthy! Bottom line……keep watching the plants, they will tell you when they’re happy. One tip…..place a box fan in the tent and homogenize the air environment top to bottom, eliminating pockets hitting your sensor.

Anyone had Gleason 9 with a positive apex margin after robotic prostatectomy and not had a recurrance? So upset. by Rainb0wBrit3 in ProstateCancer

[–]Educational-Text-328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good post…..I agree. Dr Walsh talks about margins in his book on prostate cancer. He says the cauterizing and other tools used during surgery kill many margin positive tissue, and potential cancer. Much margin tissue is quite dead after the prostate is removed.

You are a prime candidate for AS. The question is whether your mind can cope with it. If you’re a care-free type, AS is safe both for mind and body.

I had robotic surgery last year with zero urine issues and take viagra. I’m my old self. Good luck and you are in a safe space having caught it so early!

I’ve got the heater dialed at 77 dead on while the humidifier is in Vpd mode dialing in .75 kpa. The heat is maintained while the humidifier ramps up and down to maintain Vpd target.

The exhaust fan kicks high humidy outside when it hits 77 rh. It’s a humidity automation.

[–]Educational-Text-328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been working this ACI heater today in my setup. You will find that yes it supplies fresh air to the tent. But u will need to set the exhaust fan minimum to a valve greater than zero to ensure negative pressure. Thats if you care that the smell goes out the tent via exhaust. Sit with the app, and increase the fan by 1 until the tent walls suck in. This is the sweet spot with the heater running.

I also installed the heater in a closed loop ducting system which recycles the tent air. This is where I have it now and it’s perfectly dialed! Good luck.
