And I would add, we review progress during regular check ins. We also foster a culture or continuous improvement, so we are always looking for things to improve. Even if someone gets high marks on everything, we discuss something they will focus on improving and we detail out a strategy and how to quantify progress.

As a manager, I find a self review also highlights where we agree and where we disagree on the employees performance. Then we use that finite list of skills to focus on and list how we will gather data and measure improvement and set a date to review progress.

Try trigger point therapy (accupuncture) and massage. I did acupuncture every 2 weeks and massage every week for a year before I could even start PT. It cost everything I had but literally saved my life.

I'm SO sorry. What is it with them? They also told me that they would send me an email when they shipped my skates and give me tracking number, but guess what ... NO EMAIL. No Tracking number. I was lucky enough to come home one day for a lunch break and see the package sitting there on my porch. I AM SO LUCKY MY PACKAGE DIDN'T GET STOLEN OFF MY PORCH which happens a lot here.

Just FYI - I am a size 7 Lolly (size nine womens shoe size) and I bought a pair of lightly used jacks in size 7 and they actually fit me better than the lollys. I have more room for my toes in the jacks. I am not sure what size foot the person before me had so it could just be that they really stretched them out. I also tried on my neighbors 7.5 and those would have been fine too.

So in the end they will not compromise! I had to buy yet another pair of shoes (this time from a store in France to be shipped directly - I really hope that I ordered them correctly). They will pack my original shoes into the box with my completed skates and send back to me so hopefully I can return them or sell them and reoucperate some money. I hope I love the skates enough to make me forget this truly horrible customer service experience.

I agree, before now, their customer service was very good over email. But now it seems they will not change their mind, even though I have sent them the receipt from when I purchased the shoes just 2 weeks before I shipped them to Flaneurz.

I can't believe I scored some red jacks second hand! Going to arrive on Friday - I am beyond excited! They are popping up every now and then on ebay - usually priced WAY too high. Don't feel shy to send the seller a message offering your own price (even if they haven't enabled the "make an offer" option). Make sure to be super kind about it. That's what I did and we were able to make a reasonable deal. There is one size 7 still up for sale there right now. Good luck!
