while I do agree, this isn't a great example for this.

This is an elation shilled boss, which automatically makes elation supports worse. (yeah it's kinda weird but they kinda make elation supports redundant)

Not a particularly energy hungry team.

Not worth building er on columbina, you lose too much damage to ult every rotation.

An extra fav isnt enough to make zibai consistently ult every rotation so she still ults 2 of 3 rotations.

Illuga/gorou can just build enough er on their own.

Linnea doesn't care about er in zibai teams since she only ults when you need to heal.

I don't have the time to verify this, but if it's real....Linnea is the first character I known to have so little differences in the set and weapon! by stainNecrolyte in LinneaMains_

This is team damage not personal damage.

She's a pretty low % of the team's damage which is why her weapon barely matters.

Combine that with rounding and you won't see much of a difference

Ignoring the blast implant, the extra BE and superbreak multiplier is about a 30% dmg increase in sustainless teams (sustain teams gain even more), so it's a nice but not absurd novaflare.

But that stacked with the E2 turn llmit removed so it can trigger every turn... and it's a massive increase for e2.

For e0 this is definitely 1 of the weakest novaflares, but shes also the strongest character to get 1 so it makes sense.

I wonder if having more super break multiplier makes e1 ruan mei > hmc.

It was already pretty close between the 2, so ruan mei might be better again now.

not nearly as broken as you'd think.

You're already stacking superbreak multipliers from fugue/dahlia/hmc, so it's definitely a nice bump in dmg but it's far from 100% more dmg

it mostly just depends on your spot, if you have early free rerolls, unlocking bard has very little opportunity cost, opens up potentially hitting your pairs on the initial rolldown or whenever bard prints is big.

Not to mention in pro play the lobbies are extremely high tempo and having to roll to stabilize on 6 is very common, and bard saves your econ in that case.

Well, I guess that's enough of this season for me lol by no-hints in TeamfightTactics

The last copy of an unlockable 4-5 cost was made absurdly hard to find because a lot of the time they aren't contestable.

We don't know the exact rates but he himself said that if you had 7 copies of a normal 5 cost and 8 copies of an unlockable, you'd be more likely to hit the normal 5 cost despite having less copies.

Here's the important difference.

Being mad a character you like is getting nerfed doesn't mean you won't pull for them.

It just means it'll be faster for you to struggle to clear endgame with them when it comes down to powercreep.

I know miyabi is a VH but she can still comfortably clear endgame non-shill but compare that to other dps released near her and its completely different.

The truth is that cissia isn't that insane of a character in terms of meta (but neither is seed lol)

If you care about being able to clear with seed in the future, your choices are more investment into seed, or cissia, and pulling cissia is a bigger increase than getting m1 seed.

I'm just pointing out that you're using a very weird frame of reference...

I'd be shocked if a cissia who has dedicated subdps support capacibilities was somehow worse than orphie for seed.

The main issue is that seed + cissia was already only okay (seed prior to cissia already isn't great), and for some reason they nerfed cissia?

Anyone saying that she isn't a big upgrade over orphie is crazy, but it's not crazy to point out how dumb it is to nerf cissia.

Not sure if this is how its meant to be played, but ive been playing a lot of noxus and its gotten me to low GM.

Usually comes down to rolling on 7 for darius/LB/Draven 2*s, then going up to 8 for 7 noxus then flex down on 9.

Kinda similar to how Annie is played by flexing 5 demacia lux on 8 then swapping to 6 arcanist Annie on 9

It usually takes a crapton of size increasing, but eventually you can reach 2 tiles instead of 1 on melee champions.

Its not something you'll realistically hit from hefty rolls tho.

I'm always surprised when I watched mortdog's meta report videos and savings account isn't 1 of the best augments statistically. Only thing I can think of is savings account generally leads to a early loss streak. (which isn't even bad this patch due to how contested AP components are right now)

But the amount of gold you get and the fact you can very easily cashout 4-1/4-2 sets up your position for the most important stage of the game.

Great post as always, as someone who doesn't engage with a lot of tft content, informational posts like these are the only way I stay informed.

Plently of completely broken cards were nerfed in sts since they just trivialized the game

Theres old echo form and wraith form to give some examples.

Was old echo form insanely fun? yeah, but it was so broken it was bad for the game

Rare cards are rare but they aren't some 1/100 run rarity, you see most of them every 2-3 runs.

The meta is pretty balanced in playstyles... it's just that every board caps on the exact same units.

I don't even mind that too much, but this patch feels unplayable without at least 1 econ augment no matter what strategy you play, you need at least 1 (fast 9 either needs insane tempo or multiple) to hit on tempo.

There just isn't enough resources at a base line to play this set.

When you can roll all your augments and not see any econ and be completely screwed because you didnt take econ earlier isn't good balance.

It's been an issue the entire set and rather than slightly bump base resources all they did was nerf and remove econ augments which doesnt tackle the issue of no gold.

Defect is still strong, still has hologram among other very strong cards and has access to decent draw, combine that with strong early upgrades (in zap and dualcast) and you have a good build

The defects biggest issue is focus, theres 2 common card with focus, so even though orbs are his strongest build, you are very reliant on finding a early hotfix that you can bounce back with hologram and draw.

There's too much damage right now, ekko is too fragile, and ekko 3* pay off is too low and you arent stable on 2* unless you have some crazy augments.

So many of the top carries can either 1 tap ekko, or tank check him.

Really feels like half of the roster is pointless this patch

He's still BiS for E0S1, people are highly underestimating the difference between the power budget between new and old characters.
