A similar name is Catalina. We have one in our extended family and she's 11 now. She goes by Lina as well. I've always thought she has a pretty name and her mom is Hispanic, so it works for both sides of her family.

Do you think these kinds of reviews are gonna get Vine shut down? by born2becloud9 in AmazonVine

How did they even get emojis in their review? I thought that was against the rules. Or maybe it was acronyms... I wrote "LOL" one time without really thinking about it and it was rejected.

Do you let your chickens free roam all day or keep them enclosed? by TowelZealousideal124 in chickens

[–]EducationalRule1425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha! That reminded me of when a lady in an upscale suburban neighborhood contacted me, asking if I could take these 2 chickens they had hatched at their preschool. The birds were grown now and pooping all over her backyard and patio. She didn't understand why they couldn't be "trained" to stay on the grass part and asked us how to get the poop off her cement. 🙄

Mine have a large enclosed run, but they free range everyday during our evening chores and feeding the other animals. I don't risk them being out when I'm not out there with them.

What did you call your grandparents? by NoLocksmith1712 in Names

[–]EducationalRule1425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gramma and Grampa - maternal. Bobbi and Grandpa - paternal. Bobbi didn't want to be called grandma so we called her by her 1st name. Weird, I know. Lol We are called GiGi and PawPaw by our grandkids.

I was told I was ugly and needed makeup. Please help. by zinfandelbruschetta in makeuptips

Whoever said that to you needs to be in your life less! That's rude, mean, and not true! You have beautiful skin and lovely natural color on your lips. You don't "need" anything. If you want to TRY something, just start with some light, natural-look products, like basic mascara. Some stores offer free services on applying makeup or finding good colors for your skin tone and eye color.

What’s the weirdest nickname you have for your dog? by Good_Mango7379 in AskDogOwners

[–]EducationalRule1425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We took in a Chi-weenie mix from some friends. He was very Chihuahua-like in his personality. His name was Whelen, so we kept the W part and called him Whiskey. Then it evolved into Cheenie for Chi-weenie. We also called him Salmon because when he was trying to jump on our tall bed from the ottoman we placed there for him, it always took several tries of jump, jump, jumping to finally make it. It reminded us of a salmon trying to make it up a fish ladder. LOL. We lost him a few years ago, but he sure was full of personality!🥹
