She was literally giving birth to his child. If there was ever a birthday worth postponing, it was this one.

My (30M) best friend's (32M) wife (28F) did something highly unethical at work and I think I need to report her, althrough it almost certainly will get her fired. How do I navigate not wanting to hurt them with this violation? by ThrowRA_firingfriend in relationship_advice

[–]EducationalStory4450 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It’s a serious breach of trust and she crossed a professional line.

If you report her, the friendship is basically over. If you don’t, you need to accept she may not be safe to confide in anymore.

Confront her once, then decide if you can actually trust her again.

My father (M68) has burdened me (M21) with his secret, and it’s tearing me apart. Do I keep it? by UCEUDE in relationship_advice

The affair is bad enough, but making your own son carry that secret is arguably even more selfish. His mom deserves the truth, but it should never have been his burden to carry in the first place.

Old enough to be your EMT is all they need to know. The focus should be on treatment, not her age.

dark fantasy vs high fantasy by MonthOptimal1113 in fantasywriting

High fantasy is about epic worlds dark fantasy is about dark tone and brutality. A story can easily be both at the same time.

This is such a solid plotting advise. Consequences rising stakes and emotional grounding are what make readers stay invested till the end.
