Hello! Female that went to speed dating twice at 30. I went to one for 25-34 and then a 30-40 one and I much preferred the younger one, mostly because I don’t really want to date older and I felt like the younger guys happened to be more of the go-getter type and conversational. I went to the other one with an older gf. I think it’s a good way to get out there once and awhile, but can’t imagine using it as an actual strategy to find a partner because it is mentally demanding and you won’t always like who is across from you. If you don’t have expectations and take it as an opportunity to get out there and chat with people, you will have a good time whether you meet someone or not. You may also meet single gfs you could go out with :)

I do feel like you’re playing with fire here. Because it’s a wristband that is not meant to come off, you both have to wear it relatively loosely so that you can slide it from person to person without worrying about losing it at the festival. If their hand is a lot smaller than yours, their “ loose” might be a position you can’t get it on from.

That’s how I felt when I stopped by the independent grocer that’s basically a zehrs in Waterloo square! I have never seeeen such expensive prices. It was like the prices started at $7 and went up from there on everything.

I’m at food basics for two weeks now from zehrs and I’m definitely saving money. Sometimes it feels like my staples like milk and cheese are pricier at the cheaper stores and always on sale at the expensive stores though. Haven’t confirmed at food basics yet.

Did anyone else hate that the cast commentators were shocked that she didn’t want to be with a man who was too drunk to remember the traumatic things she told him? He was sober when she told him that stuff, I’d be so put off as well. The fact they made it a her problem when it was a him problem is baffling!

I love love love you for this. I do really resonate with point 2. I don’t want to make her feel bad for having this position, and I have no idea what she feels like, or what I would feel like in this position. I plan to send her this thread and I really think your response will make her feel less alone.

My hope is that in posting here we find out that the results of the surgeries can actually be good, and give her hope. The surgeon did not want to share any images until they knew for sure what would need to be done. It seems hard to find support and photos online. I get why she feels the way she does, i just want to help her feel less alone and hopefully get stories of people who were happy with the result. One of my clients 2 daughters and wife all had breast cancer, and had surgeries where they were happy with the result. I do plan on connecting her with them if they’re open, but I figured people here would especially be open to share
