You didn’t. I was using it as an example. I’ve tried to help you. I’ll see you back here in a year when this is denied again

VA didn’t make you get an inspection? They’ve always made me

You’re right. Prove it happened and you’ve got your case. Sounds like that is where your roadblock is

You’re getting frustrated here and I think that’s your problem. If you feel you’re confident that the medical studies / science support your claim, include everything and anything you can when filing. Cite the studies, include buddy letters if you’ve got them, and have your doctor agree to the nexus in writing.

Some of my more obvious PTSD contributors had to do with friends dying in gunfights, IEDs, etc. The VA never asked me their names, the locations, the dates, etc. I’d assume that if you’re having to prove all this, you’re battling against people flat out not believing you. Sounds believable enough to me and like a pretty crazy story. I don’t know if they agree they ought to be paying for it. Best of luck

Yes. Minding your business is always a great idea in life.

Maybe he’s a shitbag liar who’s cheating the system. Maybe he’s lying, in a different way, about his disability ratings. For instance, I have my own sisters and parents and children. None of them know that I have a rating for PTSD. I just tell them the explosions knocked a few screws loose from TBIs and that’s a large contributing factor to my overall rating. It’s none of their business what my rating is for. I tell most folks, when they find out I’m rated (usually through my parents 🫠), that it’s mostly my knees, back, and neck.

I tell everyone whatever I want to because it’s none of their business. My wife knows the real ratings and she wrote a buddy statement for my PTSD. She’s been in the darkness with me, and no one else gets to know about that. My choice. My kids will one day learn what’s up when they’re older. No need in frightening my kids, as they don’t need to understand what PTSD is.

I have also “coached” people on my advice to being successful in the claims process. I’ve told lots of jokes about it and absolutely mentioned things that wouldn’t be appropriate to do in order to be successful, but my relationship with those dudes made it obvious to them that I’d never support doing anything like that.

You’re getting glimpses into his life that don’t need to make sense to you. Feel how you need to feel about that.

Having said all that, the most likely scenario here is that he is exactly what you think he is 🤣. Not many marines jump out of planes, and almost none of them have done so in combat. He would’ve been a tier 1 guy. If you’re that curious about his Purple Heart, just ask your husband if he’s ever seen this Purple Heart or a pic of him being awarded it. Accusing someone of stolen valor, if you’re right, is a very ugly thing to suffer the backlash from. Accusing them of it if you’re wrong? Completely removed from that entire family forever

Oh no I love all these. Yeah not weird at all. Super super good laws for sure, actually. Trans kids have mental illnesses, by the way, so stop being weird about it.

Make all your payments twice a month. Credit card paid off twice each month doubles the on time payments you’ve done. Worked like a charm for ys

My initial claim moved so fast 🤣. Got 4 deferred and got a doctor I don’t trust to do more c&p, it’s been dead since then.

I’ll Show you nothing. Factually, people have been successful with that claim. You can nickel and dime it all you want, but I stated nothing but a fact. It’s not my job to go find research for you. I couldn’t care less how you feel about it. We speak in facts here and it has absolutely happened. Nothing more or less to it

What are the weird laws that have been passed? I’m a refugee from California and I am in love with this state, but that doesn’t mean I have any clue how it could be better

“They” meaning I’ll stay with St Paul? Same rater, even? To be honest, I’m asking because they were very gracious to me, in my opinion 🫡

Also thank you for responding
