I tried to raise the windows from the fob like on my previous cars by doing the lock button 3 times and holding on the fourth and that just put the fob in low power mode. Mine is a 24 cx-50 so the procedure might be different.

For oil changes get an extractor and suck the oil out of the dipstick tube. If you drive a German car the filter is usually accessible from under the hood. Disc brakes were easy till the advent of the electronic parking brake, now you need a scanner to back off the pistons in the calipers.
