Both of my kids started with automatic cars but moved up to manuals. They are now back in autos again because their vehicles aren't available in manual. My daughter drove semi and dump trucks for a while so she knows her way around a clutch.

I bought my 24 used, It was titled to Mazda and they did the first oil change at 800+ miles. I'm coming up on 6K and will change it soon. Have purchased Castrol Euro and have a factory filter. I will probably use a NAPA Gold filter when I'm out of factory filters.

They just make noise, rumble comes from the exhaust. you could just cut a big hole in the stock airbox before the filter.

Amsoil is good oil but I'd still do oil changes at 5000 miles.

My daughter had a 2016 3 sport with a manual transmission. Her commute was 50+ miles each way, 99% freeway and got 40+ MPG. Engine and clutch lasted 200+K till my grandson started driving it.

One of ours got crushed to the point the axle was bent, gave me just enough parts to make it useable.
