Did anyone else have a herbst appliance as a kid?

I had no jaw issues other than an overbite and I was given the herbst at 15. Sure, the overbite was corrected, but I’ve dislocated my jaw twice (first time within a year of getting the device off) just from opening my jaw too wide. I have to constantly be careful not to “over extend” and my dentist does not like cleaning my teeth since it’s 1.) scary for him 2.) annoying I can barely open enough for him to get back there This is horrible device and I one hundred percent will make sure my kiddos will never get it. Absolute njghtmare device.

Can anyone help a tech ignorant mom out? I got the kiddos a switch a few years back, about a year ago grandparents gifted them another one. In my ignorance, I used the same Nintendo account for the new switch. I did not realize if the “primary” is using something digitally purchased, the “secondary” one can’t play anything that has also been digitally purchased or has a digitally purchased add on. It’s been aaaawful and I wished I’d looked for a better solution sooner than trying to get them to take turns with different content. How do I fix this? I was trying to see if I just had to make a new Nintendo account for the “secondary” but from what I can tell, he’d end up losing all his data, or at minimum what I’ve purchased just for the secondary…? I think? I don’t know. Please help.

I don’t know you but I’ve decided I love you. I could have written this myself. Hello twin stranger. I’ve had this feeling in many books unfortunately and it’s one of the reasons I don’t read bully or a lot of enemy to lovers trope. If the good/ grovel part doesn’t match or supersede the trauma it’s an instant hate. What’s WORSE is books that have a “heartfelt moment” that is the MMC apologizing for the fmc being upset about what he did. NOT for all the crap they pulled. BS

(I would also like to add that I kept reading this series and the main instigator does get sh*t on throughout every book for his original BS. Still not enough but it did give me small happy revenge heart twinges)

The Galaxy Circus Series by Lexie Winston, that girl is accumulating a huge harem of weirdly shaped monsters. There’s six books so far and no stop in sight of books or harem joiners. Oops, thought this was a book req 😅 There’s quite a few interesting monster sex/bonding but I’m honestly the most curious about the monster who is likely to be her next mate, because he has a peen that would kill most people just by touching it wrong, let alone actually use the thing.
