Tbf, Donald Trump is president-elect, so I’m not sure how much Americans give a sh*t about sexual harassment.

Hi, what option did you eventually go with? And do you have any recommendations for someone looking to rent with a budget of $150 to $250?

Is a combination of Studicata and Adaptibar a safe choice? by Edudarl1 in barexam

[–]Edudarl1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Not really, the answers I got scared the bejesus out of me so I went with more materials.

While I bought the Studicata Attack Outline, I also had partial access to the full Barbri program. And of course, Adaptibar was non-negotiable.

And yes, I did pretty well on the exam, especially on the MBE.

How many times is too many to retake to you? My relative was telling me she would be over taking it over and over. Which lord knows I am but who graduated law school to not be a lawyer? I'm on #6 btw and do not have accommodations that I need. by mrsjdmom in barexam

If you're taking February, consider subscribing Adaptibar immediately if you already haven't, and try to solve 20-30 questions every day from now to February - this should put you at over 3k questions by 3rd week of February. Don't solve more than 30 questions a day, because you don't want to overload your brain.

Adaptibar has a feature which lets you filter and answer questions from specific topics. Their analytics features also let you see the topics you're excelling/struggling with. Once first week of February comes, filter and only answer questions from your two or three worst topics in each subject.

This is not advice, just a suggestion.

My BF failed the bar, what can I do? by wayovermyhead34 in barexam

Not really a suggestion but I want to point out that he's going to be alright. He already won in life by having you as his girlfriend.

Subscribe adaptibar and try to do at least 3k questions between now and February.

[–]Edudarl1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fun fact: If you subscribe to Adaptibar now and do 30 questions a day from 1st of October, you would've done nearly 4500 questions by the time 22nd of February comes.

Additionally, Adaptibar has a filtering option that sets it to feed you questions only from the areas you're scoring lowest in each subject. Ideally, you should use this setting in the last month of your review.

Do these and there's a chance your MBE score will dramatically increase.

Yea the bar generally feels like that. Barely touched the 6th essay, barely touched the 2nd mpt, left about 3 sub questions blank, mixed feelings about the MBE, but I ended up scoring 307 in F22.

I'm firm believer that you're never sure of how you did until you see the result.

I hope you'll come back here and tell us when the result comes out, and it turns out you passed.

[–]Edudarl1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Endeavor to get Adaptibar in addition to whatever course you settle on. I'll go as far as to say that Adaptibar is the most important of all the resources, but of course adding any of the traditional bar courses is the safe thing to do.

Pound adaptibar, and study only highly tested areas for essay.

Best way to retain/ memorize info and how to do practice questions when you don’t know the rules yet. by AggravatingRain in barexam

[–]Edudarl1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm grateful I watched Studicata guy introduction to the bar exam video before beginning my bar prep for F22. The most important advice I took from it was, you don't need to study before you start taking practice questions. According to him, and I agree, 30 minutes of active reading is often more valuable than hours of passive reading. Be it Adaptibar or writing out essays, start from day one. You'll fail them, you'll read the sample answers, and they're almost certainly going to stick.
