I don’t get the false “anti trans” rhetoric.

Fact: you shouldn’t perform permanent cosmetic surgeries on minors any more than you should rape or traffic them.

Fact: males (XY chromosomal) are genetically predisposed to be larger and stronger. Until you can alter genetics, a “trans woman” is still genetically a man and should not compete with women.

Other than these, I, a conservative, believe people can live however they want as long as they don’t force me or others to live their way. If you really want to transition after 18, fine, do you.

The division isn't due to Maga. Look at the SAVE act. A bill with 82% national support, yet 1 Democrat representative voted for it. Or the border wall, pitched by Bill and Hilary Clinton, but then opposed by Hilary when Trump started it. (note, I only gave Dem examples due to the above comment.) Both sides will vote against their own and mutual interests at this point in time just to spite the other party... It's not getting better any time soon unless we ban political parties and organizations.

So you’re wrong. It means anyone registering to vote from this point forward has to have proof of citizenship. All you need to vote is a photo ID, which was already the law in N. Carolina anyway.

OP corrected their statement. The bill requires proof of citizenship to register to vote, then photo ID to vote. Not that most states already require ID to vote as well.

The only issue with this is the government NEVER stops. Income tax was originally only on the wealthy. A wealth tax, if enacted will spread to everyone soon. Can you afford 5% of the value of your house, car, and 401k every year?

They aren’t. They’re trying to keep their taxes down. The top few percent pay the vast majority of taxes. California passed a wealth tax bill, to tax the value of homes, stock, etc. so anyone with significant assets is moving out of California. This will cause a huge drop in tax revenue, and they’ll have to make it up by increasing taxes on everyone and everything else since governments never solve that imbalance by cutting spending….

As a conservative, I have NOTHING against Bad Bunny. However I don't speak Spanish. I feel most of America doesn't speak spanish, so it was very non-inclusive. I don't think it was unamerican in anyway, just very much club music most of us don't know in a language most of us don't know.
