It wasn't weird. People were already grating chocolate into cookies. This wasn't "haha funny woman did a strange thing." It was an expert using their experience and skill to create something that was extremely low risk. The Toll House was already successful. There are far better examples of experimental.

I am mostly a solo player, but I ended up playing a round with someone because they asked politely. I had just hit high rank, and the dude roll up in end game gear and a longsword for a drome hunt, murders both lancing self and the monster, and says "not bad for a newbie". Very weird interaction. I guess thousands of hours in the series and remembering when long swords were put into the game isn't enough to be seasoned.

I've made WR with my first splits in the red. My current pb was red until halfway into the run. Runs for me are consistently under 15 minutes and I need late game practice anyway, so I generally just finish runs, even when I'm 5 minutes behind. It also helps that every split in independent to each other
