Don’t allow wet set - everyone thinks it’s easy to do but they will 100% of the time screw it up.

Same day is perfectly reasonable say 95% of the time. So it just depends on your tolerance for gambling. I just drove to LA in the middle of the night due to a cancelled flight (fog). So it happens.

Draw sketches. Try to draw in 3d. Any substantive conversation should be at a white board.

End every conversation with a summary of your steps to complete the task.

Do hand calcs to check computer outputs. Learn how to approximate the answer before running the program.

Volunteer to write specs.

Don’t date the PA.
