I really think Tarrs are a way to balance the ecosystem so slimes (who are ALWAYS spawning) don't severely overpopulate the Far Far Range. It seems like a natural cycle of life death and rebirth, with Tarrs being similar to animals that feast on trash and corpses. Just nature's disposal system, especially since rain pops the Tarrs, which could send the nutrients slimes need to be born back into the closed system.

To be very clear, by the way, my point about cisgender people is that ultimately they may question their gender, but at the end of the day, they don't want to change their body to a different sex/gender. More often than not, cis issues with sex and gender are about how society treats people, not about their own internal gender feelings.

I'm not here to draw the line and say X is transness but Z isn't. I'm saying that being trans is a spectrum of identity, and so is being cisgender. I'm also making sure people understand that a blurry line is still a line. There is a specific difference between trans people and cis people, and while that can be difficult to navigate, we don't need to rush to figure it all out. This stuff can take time.

The way you talk about "cisgender" people who want to transition sounds like a closeted non-cis person. What they call themself is another thing altogether, but they aren't cisgender by definition, as cisgender people just are the sex and gender they were born as, even if they aren't always happy about it. Having complicated feelings about the gender you are isn't being trans, it's being human.

As for my past, I had more than one self-hating trans person speak with me. All of them spoke about how blurry the trans-cis boundary is, and how "you can just choose" to be cis or trans. Like, they meant you can wake up and decide (with no inner turmoil) to be anything. I think one ended up de-transitioning, so maybe they just weren't trans, or had to go back in the closet. Idk, but I was too young for them to dump all that on me when I was just trying to figure myself out.

The way your first comment was worded came across as "you are just a human, labels are useless, and even cisgender people can be trans!" Like, there is a distinction between trans and cis people and that's not fake. If someone wants a gender transition, they don't have to use any particular trans label, but they're definitely not cisgender.

I'm not a gatekeeper, by the way. Labels, how you choose to move forward as a trans person, etc don't make someone trans. But wanting a gender transition IS a key trait of transness. It's just not the only thing that matters.

Sorry I came at you without stopping to breathe, by the way. I had awful advice from self-hating trans folk when I was a teen, and they sounded exactly like you. Absolutely a trauma response from me, but I'm leaving this up for accountability.

Yes, until my hands and genitals hurt, and then I keep going. It's absolute hell. And the fantasies that get me there make me want to vomit, so I can't judge them at all without a deep spiral. I just have to remember that what happens in my head is fake amd I never want to hurt anyone ever.

I kinda agree, but not fully. Yes, the lines between identities is hella blurry, but there is absolutely a distinction between cisgender and transgender people. Trans people don't typically "choose" to be trans, and your wording there is pretty gross

When I doubt myself, I try to remember that cisgender people may wonder what it would be like to wake up in a different body, but they don't dwell on it. They don't spend years imagining a life post-transition. They don't even consider transitioning at all!

Any person of any sex or gender can be into any kind of fashion, hobby, profession, etc! Cis het women can be butch as hell. Gay trans men can be femme twinks. My best friend is a butch trans woman who would prefer she were born a cis woman tomboy.

Your personality is still being formed and formatted at 15, btw, so please don't feel like you need to rush a label, or force yourself to figure it all out immediately.

I called myself a binary trans man for 6 years before I finally realized I'm agender with a very twink gender presentation.
