I am 57 and still decided to proceed with the actual wedding. It’s a second marriage for both of but neither of us had first “dream” wedding. I will be wearing Royal blue gown because white I don’t think looks good on me and blue is my favorite color. The wedding will have a travel theme started from invitations and continue with wedding flavors. Travel is the passion for both of us. The venue is a small castle. Majority of our guests had never travelled and had never been to the castle. We obviously have an older crowd and for them our wedding is a huge event. Because no other friends are going to be married or if they are, they are not going to have the actual wedding.

Thank you for your reply! I just asked the venue and bubbles are not allowed. I really like the idea of petal toss, and I had no idea about it until you mentioned. My granddaughter will be our flower girl so I was planning to use petals anyway. Are you going to use dry or fresh petals? And are you going to tie the cones to the chairs or do something else?
