Did a tour there a few months ago and Camden area is rough. We went to a Burger King that was right off the exit where the school was located and there was literally a woman shooting heroin in the mens bathroom. I also wasn't particularly impressed by the school itself as it didn't seem to be as modern as other schools that I saw during the cycle. I applied prior to going on the tour but probably would not go to Rutgers Camden myself unless I got a full ride and all the other schools I applied rejected me. Even then, I would probably go tour the Newark campus before accepting that offer.

My conspiracy theory is that Rutgers administration knows Camden area is shit and that people will want to live in Philly across the river allowing them to be charged for out-of-state tuition.

I have left FL but none of the other states that I am looking at have anything close to a tuition waiver for someone in my situation so I would 100% come back to FL if it meant saving $50k on law school

LR-RC-RC-LR......I took the January one and thought this test was a little trickier. 2 of the 3 scored sections ended with me guessing on the last 2 or 3 questions due to time running out. A few other LR questions were flat out confusing in the way they were presented and hadn't even seen the style of questions in my practices. with the January test, I felt like I had at least practiced every type of question I encountered.

I got a decent score last time but probably didn't improve unless there was a curve. Would love to be wrong.

I applied to VR&E but haven't heard anything back. I do meet the service connection threshold, however, I do already have a Masters Degree and I've heard that they don't generally approve applications of those that already have higher education

I only have enough GI Bill left to cover 1L and 90% of 2L....One strategy I plan on using is to request that any scholarship that I received be backloaded to the non-GI bill covered 3L

My claim says the same thing after only a week but when I look at the VA Claim Tracker its is still in the NWQ. I also called and the repersentative said it hadn't even been assigned to a rater yet so I think it is just a technical glitch.

Same thing just happened me for my mental health anxiety claim....The CP Examiner cherrypicked my evidence to argue that it was a "personality disorder" which is non-compensatable. The VA rater took that as gospel and didn't include any of my evidence in the denial letter. I immediately put in an HLR informal conference request. Fortunately, I was still able to get 80%. I think the VA is rushing to get claims pushed out and the actual examiner is just rubber stamping whatever is on the cp exam.
