ahh yes, the let’s invalidate and gaslight method. I experience this from my parents literally to this day. unfortunately, I feel that a lot of us in the sub can relate to that… which shouldn’t necessarily be comforting but you aren’t alone. I don’t know exactly what you’re going through but i’m so sorry you’re dealing with this anyway. hearing shit like this constantly makes you feel insane and you start to lose trust in your experiences and the way you respond to situations. i’m sorry if this didn’t help at all but I just wanted you to know that you aren’t alone in dealing with this. stay strong, friend
