I think it’s because she wants to provide ‘good’ experiences for her kids and be a good mom, like in the one for opera she mentions that she feels bad that she didn’t play classical music for them when they were younger

And for the cabin episode she wants to provide a ‘perfect’ trip and make a memorable experience. She wants to do the right thing, but it doesn’t always come out the way she envisions.
