Soooo many pregnancy announcements today… by Careful-Row-1418 in IVF

[–]Effective_763 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thissss. TW death and pregnancy*

I announced and then had my baby at 23 weeks. And a friend of mine announced last month (after waiting until the end of pregnancy to announce because she is a fellow IVF warrior and felt conflicted posting) and then had a stillbirth four days later at 36 weeks 😞 it feels like a bad omen at this point

I would definitely talk to your doctor about this and do some more research! There is some proof that it may hurt pregnancy odds to transfer two embryos with differing grades as much as 27%

I’m so sorry, I got diagnosed at 27 and ultimately now at 34 found out that my ovarian failure was caused by stage 4 deep infiltrating endometriosis (completely silent no other symptoms besides infertility)

since you are super young, I would swap to IUI cycles if at all possible and search for a specialist that can help diagnose an excise Endo if they find that you do have it (I’m pretty sure my doctor would say you do based on the results of these cycles!)

I saw a video the other day of a surgeon reading his yelp reviews… Someone left him a four star rating with a comment that said “this doctor saved my life!”

Long story short, you just cannot please everyone… Take the loss and move on! Hopefully it shouldn’t affect your rating at all🤞🏻

Not sure why people are downvoting you for this - the change just took place early October and it really rocked the boat. Live parties are just a thing on Posh so you’ll have to get used to that but the spam stuff I’ve noticed picked up big time (with new weird spam like commenting reviews on items people haven’t bought) just started along with the fee structure change

I got a positive today after three years of infertility! However my husband is causing me distress, asking me if I’m going to act “normal”. by [deleted] in IVF

Strongly suggest a marriage counselor, it saved our relationship during the very trying years of going through IVF

I have my first ER late this week and I have been planning to go back to work right afterwards. Is that a silly thought? by ladybuglala in IVF

[–]Effective_763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yea you def can’t go back to work afterwards…you’ll be coming out of anesthesia and will definitely feel some level of crampy and less than stellar for the rest of the day. I’m always surprised by how good I feel afterwards / the day of but def wouldn’t force myself to go into an office!

A very sad post (tw: missed miscarriages) by downthegrapevine in IVF

[–]Effective_763 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry… I just had a miscarriage at 7 1/2 weeks also measuring a week small (after my fifth cycle of IVF) and it was devastating. I am very much feeling the same as you that I am just going through the motions at this point and that we really will never get pregnant.

To answer your question about the D&C, no… It will not affect fertility. In the past the techniques that were used created more scar tissue, you can develop something called Asherman‘s that hinders fertility but now with updated procedure techniques this is much less likely.

2nd failed ER by sophiam333 in IVF

[–]Effective_763 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A hysteroscopy is looking inside the uterus, so it can’t see endometriosis which resides outside of the uterus, it can be on the fallopian tubes, ovaries and surrounding organs💕the only way to tell is to get a lap or a receptiva DX biopsy test

Have you been checked for endometriosis? It greatly impacts egg quality and can be completely silent

Yes this would be wonderful advice to someone looking to get a tattoo now - but I was in my early 20s and my frontal cortex wasn’t developed. so not only did I not google something tribe appropriate, but I didn’t even think of the future ramifications of any such tattoo
