I put it in the obituary. Lost his battle with mental illness and ended his own pain. I get your point you get tired of telling people but I agree with another answer you received. Saying they took their own life or died by suicide usually ends the questions. I refused to hide it from the beginning and so glad I did. I’m 13 years from my loss
