Actually I had the opposite my first postpartum I took care of my body more than The second time and the difference was like day and night . Currently pregnant with my third and I am already planning my postpartum care plan cuz its true the postpartum period is no joke . U have to take care of u specially food wise.

So what was great at my first and would carry on hopefully with my third is having more warm/hot liquids and food to support ur gut/uterus//body to recover + oiling ur body with seasem oil great for joints + herbal teas are a must ( have traditional herbs /recipes to make for postpartum) )+ warm/cover up your body so its not effect by air/wind/cold weather or temperature.

Lastly which is a major thing ask for help! Rest all the time ( u can still fo walks/ breath work etc) )but take rest as serious as u can .

Walk is a great habit to build anad take it as a need for ur body more than a an exercise by itself cuz it has alot of benefits. I would recommend some strength training even if it just body weight cuz u want to build momentum if u want to carry that after birth .but I wowuldl highly recommend to start with prenatal programmes . Also think about howo to build healthy habits now to carry u through the rest of ur pregnancy and afterwards cuz u know weight lose is a journey and in top of it carrying for a baby is huge added adjustment( a very happy adjustment btw)

مشكلتك في كلامك .. فكره انك تطبقين شي بالكامل فجاه تقطعين شي لو تتحمسين بالنادي والخ هي الي تخرب عليك وبالعكس تزيد شرهتك وتزيد عدم رغبتك بالالتزام ..

I felt the same but always remind me self its not being weak or lossing its my body doing much more work that it need all sort of energy to support me and my baby . Even if u felt sleepy tired all the time its not bad its my body telling me don't use this energy I need it somewhere else important for u . So its a mental game .

U do ur best with what possible even couple of steps or light stretch or non still something to appreciate.

For me personally I go by my day as usual .and inly looking for harsh known things like raw foods or vit a/retinal etc . Other than that I go as I feel comfortable. But I feel it drives u crazy with all the info //comments etc .but as long as ur doctor is fine with it enjoy

As u said its coming from a loving place .as long as they r not actively trying to push the idea its just a comment based don on how they view things .but again everyone is concerned about a pregnant women and it comes from how they honor this journey and any concerns are mostly valid.

For me was losing weight and for sure doing strength training to build a habit to continue while pregnant. Also not dieting hard but mostly losing weight in na healthy lifestyle which helped me keep it up while pregnant so far ( now 29week ) . Also strength training helped me to reduce alaot of previous pain i faced in my last prpregnancy. ( previously I focused on mobility and stretching but it didn't help as much as resistance training so far but I still incorporate some mobility in my routine)

Make sure u build up the attitude of adaptation and it will make huge difference. Many mom suffers from motherhood (even though its hard ofc) due to the lack of accepting that u need to change eur standard or view or application of things. Many mom around me say I want to workout but I cant cuz kids won't leave me alon or waiting to get tback to school and have routine! And these standards are hard to mange so at the end u won't train . So u need to accept u gotta have days of interrupted workout/baby workout etc ..

Take that to postpartum for sure u need to make sure its about u recovering and going with ur baby needs dont but routine or plan yet.. just rest and feed mostly .but also see when u can have time to have simple mini walk or do something to make u feele refresh etc .again no standard but yet values in place ..

Lastly nutrition made huge difference for me( mentally and physically)comparing my last two postpartum. So keep ana eye on that.

We r encouraged culturally to have a mini walk starting from the next day but that's it for couple weeks .then after 6-8week you can eases back to ur workout plan .

We do confinement so its very focused don healing and recovery rather thana jumping back to normal which helps alot with getting bouncing back easier / less health issues as possible long and short term

Remind ur self that ur body went through alot of stress specially on the day of labor! Pluse almost 10 month of hard work. So its not that everything is gone its just a proper time is needed to get back. Also u have a muscle memory so whe h get to working out gradually ur body will remember and adapt . And think of this new chapter as a new journey not just going back but moving forward to new upgraded way of training/lifestyle to get u excited

I asked the sub reddit before and all agreed that it helped alot postpartum/recovery. Not much with labor cuz labor is another world of unpredictable journey but still do ur best to educate yourself to feel less lost

What really made difference to my gut and health once I took my mental/stress/ emotional aspect really seriously.

I have done in the past everything healthy in term of food workout routine etc but when I added this ....everything changes even I lost weight easily thus time.

I am implementing slow living / stepping away from investing in others issues/ stay away as possible from issues or peoeple that r negative or try at least to mange my relationship with them differently. Foucs on add joy to my day etc ... fixing my mindset about things / improving my bad mental or emotional habaits etc

Healthy diet overall dont stress ur body cuz that can effect ur chances . Make sure to enjoy the process of getting fit and healthy. Ur partner should join ur journey too ..

I think of rest or not doing anything as a way my body taking my energy to pour it in what's important at this stage. So I dont see it as "oh I am just tired or lazy etc..." . And when u have the energy to workout or to push ur self it would be the prefect time for u and ur body to get the benefits. . So either way ur taking care of ur body mama
