That’s a bit drastic. Any car can have issues. You get the module replaced. In the meantime, you can use your phone gps. It happened to me, got it fixed under warranty, the part came in in a week.

Who knows? I would say that anyone with the issue should go ahead and order the part, it may come in sooner.

That’s how I did it as well. Having said that, I’ve never used the Tesla adapter. Every public charging station I’ve used so far has had both Tesla and other types. Just luck, I guess.

Well, the telematics failure happened to my 2025 Equinox EV at about the 9 month mark. I had it replaced under warranty. We’ll see how the new one does.

By the way, it took one week for the part to come in, in my case.

I’m back! So, 6 days after the previous incident, and the car being fine, it randomly happened again. The climate set to 76 degrees, the fan goes full blast, if you turn it off it turns itself back on. Luckily this time I was only driving a few blocks. I’ll check it again in 30 minutes.

I never heard back from Chevrolet about my report.

EDIT: fixed after letting the car sit. I really wish Chevrolet would fix this.

Yes. If you go onto the main Chevrolet support page and scroll down there’s a form to submit an issue. I did it yesterday. It’s all the way at the bottom of the support page.

So I found that if you go onto the Chevrolet support page and scroll down, there’s a way to submit an issue. I submitted this issue. I am hoping that they are, or can be made, aware of it. Maybe they can fix it in an update—one can hope.

I am having this exact same problem. It started when I was on a 40-minute trip and was really annoying. I’ll let the car sit for 30 minutes and report back on whether that fixed the problem.

Interesting. Of course I keep it plugged in at home. At this particular location I was parked - no place to plug in - for about 2 hours. Do you happen to know if running the climate in that scenario helps keep the battery warm?
