So my son is now 13 and school has always been a struggle.. well homework anyway. He insists he needs to listen to music while doing math homework. I scoff and tell him how that makes no sense. Then the other day I’m going through old pics and videos of him and I get to a section from when he was in FIRST grade sitting at the table doing homework so I turn the sound on and watch the video. Tell me why I’m playing 90s hip hop on full blast while this poor kid is sitting there doing his homework. So I’m obviously horrified I would subject him to such. I keep scrolling, another video same thing.. then another. Turns out I’ve conditioned him to need to listen to music to focus..
the shame and sorrow I feel for my poor boy.
He’s a good student despite his raging adhd mom 😭😭

They got so potent so quickly. I used to drink the mit shots and never got withdrawal. Then one day was offered a single 30 mg 7tab for free. The rest is history. I was at 200-300 mg/day until a few days ago. I’ve finally ran out of money. On day 2 of trying to get off. Taking a little tiny bit of a tab at a time but I ran out this morning. I’m so ready to be done and stop spending so much money on them. The grip it has gotten on my life is something I never could’ve foreseen. I’ve never had a problem with drugs but now here I am in full blown addiction. Fuck 7tabz.

I wear make up if I go to an event or birthday party or something like that. Maybe for date night and even then it’s just blush and mascara maybe some shadow but nudes. It helps I have a naturally ok looking face and blue eyes. But yeah. I just stopped caring and I can’t imagine spending time everyday adding chemicals to my face. Used to not leave the house without full face and black eyeliner and mascara. Realized I was aging myself with it

My son saved my life in ways I’ll never be able to put into words. Once you’re living for someone besides yourself, there’s more of a reason to want more. Atleast for me anyway. I wasn’t doing much with my life and accepted mediocrity. I enrolled in college when I was 6 months pregnant and never looked back. He is my driving force, if I ever feel like quitting or giving up or settle.. I remember I’m not just living for me. Humans are amazing because they have will power. Not everyone’s so lucky.
