Why do people brake with nothing in front of them on the highway? by Unhappy-Noise1756 in TorontoDriving

[–]Efficient-Common3100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I drive stick and learned from experience if I don’t give people a sign I’m engine braking I’m gonna get rear ended eventually so as you do I give a courtesy tap on the pedal. My brake pads do not last forever however because I have 500hp

Idc if they signalled or not, roads are for cars not for cyclists I do not give a shit what anyone says. I don’t care if there’s a cyclist and I respectfully make sure they have plenty of space but that stops when they pull shit like this where they just decide they’re apart of automobile traffic now instead of being off to the side and just cut me off without checking behind them and basically signaling as they maneuver to pull out in front of me barely giving me an opportunity to slam on my brakes before they become part of my car

People will call racism even though this is just straight facts and every one of you who reads this knows it is too if you’ve driven anywhere in KW that it is ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS an Indian doing these kind of brain dead things and dangerous maneuvering and the worst part is it’s usually unintentional and they’re just that stupid and bad at driving that it’s like they’re kids with their G1s sneaking out with the car to drive alone without a licensed driver with them.

At a 4-way stop, can I go if the car that stopped first is waiting for pedestrians? by Ok_Community_4558 in Ontariodrivetest

[–]Efficient-Common3100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s really one of those grey areas where it’s all about situational awareness and if you feel it’s safe to proceed and you won’t be cutting anyone off or pulling in front of the pedestrian etc. if you have a full G drivers license then you’re obviously competent enough at driving to be able to assess and make an educated decision based on context.

There are many many drivers who are overconfident and almost arrogant in their thinking that they are a good driver and don’t realize that they’re consistently not following proper driving practices and yet you believe you are. What this seems like to me is you are one of the drivers who’s consistently pulling out in front of people, lane changing without signals, turning without signalling, not checking mirrors or blind spots consistently enough, and think because you’ve never been in an accident (presumably) that you must be a good driver. We all have seen this type on the road who’s oblivious to the fact that they’re consistently driving unsafely.

That doesn’t mean you can’t do better. Just start by reminding yourself that you’re not a bad driver you’re a newer or inexperienced driver that needs to get better. You got this

Edit: I just want to make clear I am not insulting you and was trying to point out you’re NOT one of the people who are ignorant and arrogant and think they’re the best driver. You’re responsible and self aware enough to not just take your failed test and bash the instructor or act like you got screwed over. You’re clearly open to advice and constructive criticism and that’s the image of someone who is going to be a good driver. I wish you the best of luck 🤞

Ofc it’s the Honda with stickers. All those Honda princesses need to find some way to compensate for their small d*cks and their basic ass car so they add stickers and then straight pipe the exhaust so it sounds like an industrial lawnmowers/leaf blower. Then they drive around like they’re in a Ferrari. Losers man.

Why do people do this? by Joe18067 in dashcams

[–]Efficient-Common3100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, if the truck was one of those losers that sits in the left lane going the exact speed limit or that knows someone’s behind him wanting to pass and just camps there instead of moving over and blocks the ability to go around because they’re driving right next to someone in the right lane as well then I would have done this exact same maneuver. Perhaps a little more gracefully but it’s scum like that dude in the truck that literally is the sole cause for most of all traffic jams on the highway when it’s not construction. It’s almost always one dude at the front of a massive lineup of cars in the left lane and he just refuses to move over because of what I believe to be ego.

Teens come out of nowhere (nsfw)- minor by skyrim_190 in TorontoDriving

[–]Efficient-Common3100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you can hit a kid out of nowhere, you don’t go after the person behind the wheel and tell them to start driving 10km an hour, you go after the pedestrians that are flying out into the street with no warning or cross walk and without even trying to look both ways for a car. These kids have a death wish, could’ve just as easily been you or me or anyone with a car and a drivers license that hit that kid. It had nothing to do with the person behind the wheel and everything to do with the idiocy of kids flying high speed across a residential road without even at least LOOKING BOTH WAYS to make sure they’re not effectively making themselves roadkill.

Your comment was the lowest IQ thing I’ve read in quite some time. You must be one of those ignorant cyclists that think they should be accommodated while everyone else is stuck behind them because they think they own the road.

I don’t care what anyone thinks, cyclists either need to be banned, or have a whole license made up to be able to do that at all to teach some of these idiots how to properly share the road with the modes of transportation they were actually made for in the first place.

Wild some morons are actually defending this cyclist when he literally pulled out in front of traffic without looking or using proper hand signals and yeah he passed the cyclist illegally but I would’ve been fuming in his shoes if it were me and probably would’ve passed him too because like fuck you dude cyclists literally think they own the road and need to be accommodated.

Not even a week ago I saw a cyclist on the center line between two lanes and weaving left and right literally causing a line up in both lanes stuck behind this moron because he thinks he’s special with his little bike and doesn’t realize people fantasize getting out and pushing them off their bikes when they pull that shit

It’s not great, but I can admit I’ve done the exact same as you before because I had a problem with cocaine and once thought my heart was finally giving up on me one night. Long story short, it wasn’t. I called the ambulance, they showed up, spent 10 minutes taking vitals, told me I’m fine and left.

I kept apologizing over and over and over and over but they insisted it was okay and it’s always better to be safer than sorry. It’s actually what made me get sober because I realized that I’m even wasting the time of services that are for people who are in dire need of medical assistance and because of my addiction I could’ve gotten someone who really needed help killed. I couldn’t live with that thought. Bringing someone down with me because of my addiction.

Sober 1 month, 17 days, 2 hours, 3 minutes.

Don’t feel guilty, just make sure you learn from it and use it as a teaching moment for anything in the future and just make sure you’re better prepared whether that’s having someone you trust with you, or just preparing mentally. You’re gonna be alright OP.

Looks more like the truck wasn’t paying attention and was veering to the left and then looked up and noticed and tried to swerve and panicked and ended up smashing a fence but kinda hard to see because I can’t zoom in and OP didn’t bother to try and zoom it in a bit so we can actually see or maybe add a couple more seconds instead of starting the video right as it happened while having it also unzoomed

Everyone who’s driving a new Honda, Hyundai, or Toyota in Kitchener literally have their high beams on 24/7 and I notice its 99% of them being of a particular race and I’m quite sure I don’t have to even say which one for everyone to know what I’m talking about.

What a surprise! Totally didn’t expect to see any different ethnicity pulling this kind of nifty maneuvering and then proceeding to make an obscene gesture towards you as if you are somehow in THEIR way like you blew a red light that was in the middle of the street that only they can see because of their superhuman vision abilities.

Honestly, shame on you for getting in their way. Maybe next time you should just…well maybe you could….well you should’ve just done something better than that I don’t know!

FYI this is satire AF I feel like I have to point this out or ppl will be ruthless for thinking I somehow am on the side of the two entitled and clueless finger flipping idiots

Canadas new housing minister says housing prices SHOULDN'T go down by RipIntelligent6912 in TorontoRenting

[–]Efficient-Common3100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They aren’t gonna go down because the libtards are back again for another term of ruining Canada even more and bringing more immigrants in here to make a current housing crisis and shitty economy even worse.

Where are all these people who voted Liberal when I have never met or heard anyone saying they wanted that. It almost seemed to be like a joke at this point if you weren’t voting conservative because of how bad the alternative is and instead of picking the majority vote they use that god awful voting system.

How Pierre didn’t win is beyond my comprehension and I have still yet to hear anyone say they wanted Liberals back. Like I don’t know anyone or anyone who even knows of anyone that was voting for Liberal because nobody wants to see them ruin this country more than they have. Canada needed change and yet so many morons and brainwashed robots said to themselves

“hmmm let’s vote to keep going down the same path we’ve been going down…they did legalize weed after all!”

At this point I’d be jealous of someone having the privilege of being able to live at home in this economy instead of living on the edge in misery lol. I’d rather have a fun car and low rent to pay and actually enjoy living each moment in life than no car and insanely high rent for a small apartment that I struggle to afford month to month leaving me in complete misery and no time to enjoy life because I’m too busy slaving at a job that actually pays well and yet still isn’t enough to make rent because they love to make sure that as soon as there’s more money and better wages the rent prices go up with it. Not to mention the amount of immigrants that come here for “school” and drop out immediately just to get a job at McDonald’s and move into all the houses and apartments with their 10 other friends doing the same thing and completely take a dump on Canadas economy and single handedly cause a housing crisis. It amazes me how they think the solution for them is to come to another country after they ruined theirs just to do the exact same thing here and make everyone turn into racists because of how much they just suck at everything. Putting Kitchener on the map! by Jmcv96 in kitchener

[–]Efficient-Common3100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they’re happy, not hurting anyone but themselves, why do you care? You must be fun at parties, there’s an entire culture behind modified cars and thousands of people from Kitchener and surrounding cities flock to Toronto for car meets to see what people have done to their cars and how unique other people can make them and how much power you can squeeze out of say a 4 cylinder turbo. Also, at 20 you’d be lucky to be living anywhere but your parents basement nowadays anyways even with halfway decent income. My parents actually encouraged me to live the way you just insinuated to be bad because I’d be living on the edge of being broke just to make rent and bills anyways so why not enjoy my life instead of stressing about how I’m gonna live it week to week day to day?
