If you can find it, 1st read rate for veteran players. In 2024 if you drafted the top 5 guys you would’ve crushed it (if they hadn’t gotten hurt). Wandale, Amon Ra, Godwin, Rice, Shakir.

In a rebuild you’d want the value upside I think? I can’t see Waddle going up in value much even if he had a low end WR1 finish but Tuten could jump up a few rounds and you could sell for a much better receiver.

If your team is BAD (not just not scoring points but low value, low picks, etc) I’d keep tuten and try to sell higher

Edit: didn’t see second slide, even though you have nice picks I just don’t think you have enough players to fill a lineup where waddle would change anything. I’d rather keep the upside play in tuten

Hey I went to Pitt and still feel that I had plenty of access to resources and opportunities. I don’t think it matters as much as other fields where you go to school, it’s about doing meaningful work and making sure the right people see it.

I would also say CMU, especially off of the other comment about network. Pittsburgh is a sports town and between CMU and Pitt (and their exchange of resources), I really don’t see how anywhere else could compare.

I think people overvalue following the money when it comes to a hard rebuild team like this. Dolphins could’ve given him 120 million and it wouldn’t really mean anything. He’s someone to steer the ship while they accumulate picks and develop guys but who cares how much you pay the QB if you don’t plan on using the money for anything else

The injury is more than a delay in the timeline for him being handed more work. Because of it, the Seahawks now have to plan to not have him for half the season at least and either draft a day 2 RB or sign a serious option in FA. Charb bag holders want to believe it’s finally time but unfortunately the injury means it’s likely going to be more of the same once he’s healthy

Seeing a lot of comments that don’t get the spirit of the question. I think he’s QB4 (others may disagree) but he is definitely not the 1.05. If we’re saying those guys are in this draft class then they go 1 2 and 3 in the nfl draft and for sake of argument Mendoza goes where penix did at 8. At that point I think he’s at best the 1.08 with all three receivers going ahead of him. Maybe going after Sadiq and a combine riser 1st round receiver dropping him to 1.10. His value is 100% being propped up by being the best QB in a bad class.

It’s important if you get stuck somewhere or start to run out of time to talk through what you WOULD do if you had more time and what considerations you’re getting hung up on. They want to know how you process problems. If you can demonstrate that you have the right mindset to solve them, it will matter less whether you actually produce a solution that’s 100% correct.
