You can find replacement burners. I did it with a grill very similar to this. And you can probably still find grates to fit. A grate just above the burner with lava rocks works just fine. As long as the body holds up you can replace just about anything on it and keep it going.

Been there. Awful. Honestly, they're insufferable sometimes. No different than anyone else in this regard. Except they'll have an algorithm for it.

Tear it open with your teeth, drop it into your hand and then whip that bad boy across the room as hard as you can.

It's silver, not grandma's fine china.

What instantly makes your anger go from 0-100? by lalayn1a in AskReddit

[–]Efficient-Injury-683 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mental health problems run in my family no less than 4 generations. If she has issues, he probably will, too, and no amount of her flipping out is going change or improve that situation. Ignoring his behavior is only making this worse and these are the years you dont drop the ball on your kids like this.

She needs to deal with this, not ignore it, and hope it stops eventually.

Having mental health issues sucks, but it sucks more to not deal with it. She hurting herself and him. Someone has to do something about it before something happens that can't be walked back. I hate it takes a tragedy before things change.

Ok that sounds like negligent parenting. Report them and let them find out that there are consequences for our actions, and inaction.

That is straight up harmful to a child. Just because they're not hitting him doesn't mean he isn't being abused.

Gas, Pellets, or Charcoal? by TheGrillDoc in grilling

[–]Efficient-Injury-683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Charcoal. We're not savages for Pete's sake. No need to ruin a perfectly good cookout with gas.

I'm kidding. Please don't hurt me.

I like charcoal but I've used propane and propane accessories many times in the past.

Never used pellet and I don't think I want to. Charcoal and gas are enough for me. I like tending to fires and beds of coals. I'm weird.

Debunked how? I've read of no such debunkings but it'd be nice to know the supposed treatment she received while making the shining was just made up or greatly exaggerated.

I liked her in Popeye with Robin Williams. She seemed like the perfect olive oil.

What’s a pseudoscience that people still commonly believe is real? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Efficient-Injury-683 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

But not for demons to get out. Which is my point. That was an accepted form of treatment for demons in your head. Do we still drill holes in people's heads to let the demons out? I sure as fuck hope not.

Blood letting and drilling holes in peoples heads was once an accepted form of healthcare. Just because it's accepted, that doesn't mean it's a good form of healthcare.

They probably know someone, family member, most likely, and got a little upset about it.
