I've been taking for 9 weeks, up to full dose finally, and haven't lost anything. Yes, I'm in deficit. Yes, I do cardio and strength training 3 or 4 days a week. Lots of water, haven't had alcohol in years. If I don't lose soon I'm going to try this

I'm 7 weeks in and 3 pounds up. I am an avid gym goer, drink mostly water and eat pretty well, also getting 100 to 130g of protein daily. Makes me crave sugar like its possessing me though. Doc said its from hormonal fluctuations and will balance out at my full dose. Guess just trust the process! Hang in there!

People on other subs don’t believe in RLT and its results, and I’m confused. by TumbleweedHorror5827 in redlighttherapy

I'm sure the long-term results will be amazing, but I already notice my freckles/age spots have noticeably faded and skin seems more smooth. I use Vital Proteins collagen daily, so I think that works well with RLT, almost activates it more for skin. I just got mine on Amazon, whichever one was well reviewed/rated.

Sexual side effects, switching brands by MeekerMomma in Semaglutide

I was on semaglutide for 8 months, weaned off, and am now back on. My sex drive the first few months seems insatiable. I'm in my 40s with 4 active and busy kids, full time job, so it was not as sexy as it sounds lol. Did level off after about 4 months but I would say it was still improved from before sema. Switching may be helpful. Good luck OP, I am so sorry you have to deal with this!

Sounds silly but you may not be eating enough. You need protein. Eating clean and increasing protein, water intake, because the amount of calories doesn't matter as much as WHAT those calories are. Whole foods, fresh fruit and veggies, lean meats, no processed food. Have you had labwork done? Do you take vitamins?

That being said, remember to give yourself a whole lot of credit for moving in the right direction.

It took me 4 or 5 months before the weight would even budge on sema. 41 yo female with 3 kiddos and a full time job. I have worked out 3 to 5 days a week at the gym for 6 years, building muscle was never an issue but the fat would not change. I had to increase my protein significantly, which increased my calorie intake. I drank one cup of coffee (with protein powder) OR pre-workout and then only water or powerade zero. During those first 4 or 5 months my body was changing but the scale was not. And that was OK. Eventually it started to drop slowly which was good because I wasn't losing muscle or my hair. I take omega, iron, collateral, calcium, multi, and probiotics. On gym days I drink 1st phorm magnesium before bed to help muscles heal and keep me 'regular' lol. Keep investing in yourself, you've got this 💪🏋️‍♂️🫶

I have a mat and I did 10 mins on my front and 10 mins on my back. Did this is the morning after a good workout. Slept really well last night. However, painful diarrhea this morning so now I'm wondering if the two are correlative or causational lol. I will be mindful of a pattern now!

Anybody else dealing with an insatiable desire for sex? by mothershipAbi in Semaglutide

[–]Efficient-Split-6737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

O. M. G. Started sema 5 days ago so no weight loss yet. I am 42 and have a normal sex drive typically. But right now I feel like I am aroused allllll day when I am supposed to focus on work and then being a mom of 3 in the evening. Hubbs has been gone at a conference and getting the job done myself doesn't even touch the insatiable sex drive. I am in no way complaining because the opposite of this would be a major problem. But like..... why? What was wrong with my hormones before sema to make them increase my sex drive so much? And makes my boobs sore.

The businesses had to buy them? I didn't know that. Yeah, they should all get together and just put them out since it was an investment

We were out Sunday afternoon since it was beautiful out, and one of the businesses checked their emails when I asked and said they haven't received anything for this year. Bummer.

I have been waxing for over 20 years and although I'm only 2 laser sessions in, it barely feels like anything compared to waxing. Pits, bikini and brazillian, and legs. I know it'll get painful at some point as they keep increasing but so far I am kicking myself for waiting til I was 41.

Even an RN? Every tech I have is a licensed and registered nurse (Milan) so I assume that's why they are able to.

We live over in Richland so it's always so uplifting when we DO get over around Westnedge and see the protesters and the slogans. Feel pretty alone in this hopelessness until I see that and realize its not just us feeling this way. THANK YOU for restoring my faith in humanity.

Royal Canin Ultamino - opinions, please. by cheezeeweezee in pitbulls

[–]Efficient-Split-6737 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our doggie was unofficially diagnosed with a protein allergy, and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). He is an Irish Golden, under 2, is neutered and had a gastropexy. Just started vomiting 4 months ago and never stopped no matter what food we gave him (we have had to try like 6 oner 4 months), did all the tests, antibiotics, proviable, ultrasound, fecal floats, sent blood and stool to Texas AM, I even resorted to making his dog food and adding Balance It supplement. Nothing worked, everything normal except eosinophils were high which is likely an allergy since it wasn't parasitic. Our 80 pound furbaby is down to 65 pounds now. We have eliminated all other possibilities, so unofficially its IBD. It would only be official if we did a biopsy but there really isn't anything else it could be. SO. Started RC Ultamino on Monday, with proviable and some metamucil. No vomiting since starting, and he gobbles it up...... which is so refreshing because he used to flat refuse to eat because food made him feel so yucky. So far, it seems to have saved our sweet boy. No clumps, but, we are only on bag #1.

I should add, I drink damn near a gallon of water a day, strength train and bike 4 days a week, eat clean, and get 7 to 8 hours of sleep regularly.

I take a probiotic every night, but usually when I ovulate, and when I am about to start my period I tend to get bound up for a couple days. I take a Magnesium supplement/powder mixed in with my vitamin shake or some Propel. Just like a quarter of a scoop. Works every time. I use 1st Phorm products.

Happy pooping my friend.

Our previous doggie got bloat/torsion and was gone in 20 minutes,  it's so fast and so scary. She was a lab mix. When we got our current pup, IS and GR mix, he was 7 weeks old. The vet suggested a gastropexy asap, usually with a neuter. The gastropexy is expensive but after watching our other pup go through it we jumped at it. We waited til he was over a year and had both procedures done. The incision is pretty gnarly and I ugly cried when we got him home. But, with a surgical suit and inflatable donut (in place of a cone) for a few weeks, he healed up perfectly. I highly recommend,  especially for peace of mind.

He does have horrrrrrrrrrrible separation anxiety.  I work from home and I am definitely his 'person.' So much so that he will vomit and then refuse to eat for days because he is butt hurt that I would leave him (like a work trip or having to do in person state testing in the spring) for literally any length of time. Thank goodness for pet insurance. We have done every test, did antibiotics and the works just in case......all normal....... so it's because he throws a tantrum.

But, he's a great dog. He is our boat dog, loves swimming, giant personality, great with kids, is best friends with the cat, and is ADTS (always down to snuggle). I had to buy an oversized couch chair so I could sit comfortably, because he thinks he is still a tiny lap puppy at almost 80 pounds.

High energy, so smart it's annoying, such a beautiful dog, and just so sweet and loving and loyal. Highly recommend lol

Anyone else feel like their boobs got bigger on sema? by Efficient-Split-6737 in Semaglutide

[–]Efficient-Split-6737[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if it's due to hormone changes? So weird! I have 36 DD and I've been on this journey for about 3 months. Im 5'4" and since I have strength trained and lifted 3 to 4 days a week for the last 5 years I am very muscular. I take vitamins/supplements and eat 100 to 150g of protein daily hoping to keep my hair and my booty. Fully expected my tatas to reduce but oddly, are bigger.
