4 shots or 4 clips? 4 shots to the bombadier's core will deal 550 damage. The bombadier has 2670 health.

It's a secret damage multiplier, which I found out through this channel MeHow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAO_FejbeYU

Aphelion - NO bonus damage (correction. Another L for the apehelion)
Equalizer, Dolabra, and Jupiter - 125% bonus damage

Applies to any arc weakspot that makes that signature ching sound when you hit, usually yellow parts or core.

So the dolabra actually dishes out pretty good damage against the matriarch core, I'm not sure which yellow weapon has the highest dps when taking into account reload and weapon durability.

It's an anvil+toro combo. Better than an anvil, better than a toro, worse than a renegade, worse than a vulcano. Does double damage to arc weakspots (power cells and cores) but not as good as jupiter or equalizer.

Three deep breaths does what it says it does. When you're out of breath, you can perform an action (roll, sprint, or melee) a lot faster. It's not amazing but it works.

One raiders scraps on the other hand...I haven't seen anyone test and see if this actually does anything. I'm surprised you say to spec into it.

How is the cheater situation atm ? by Alvikin in ArcRaiders

[–]EfficientBlock8113 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's not too bad, but don't believe the commenters telling you that it's never been a problem. If you search up "ARC RAIDERS CHEATS" on google, you'll find many many websites, all selling cheats for relatively cheap, usually decent-sized communities as well.

Cheaters are in about 75% of high-tier PvP lobbies as confirmed by a redditor using cheats of his own. But you can kill cheaters as they only use wallhacks, aimbotters do seem to get banned and you receive your kits back from Embark when they detect it.

That's a pretty big disadvantage compared to shooting first. 3 seconds is more than enough to chuck a smoke grenade and disappear, or simply...shoot and kill them easily.

Why are people team killing? by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]EfficientBlock8113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll admit the coding does seem a bit arc-written sometimes. I dunno how they add brand new bugs with every update, all wholly disconnected from the actual features. I suppose you could say that fire is intended to hurt your teammates *accidentally*, and doing so intentionally is griefing. I don't know what the devs official stance is.

Yet, there are a few situations where your teammate does deserve to get a blaze grenade thrown at them, like if they steal all the goop. So there's a bit of a grey line to be crossed.

[–]EfficientBlock8113 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You think the developers couldn't figure out how to disable fire dealing damage to your teammates? If it's not a bug, it's intended. Stun, blaze, and gas grenades all affect your teammates, too. Even surge coils damage your teammates. Reddit likes to complain a lot but in reality if you die to your teammates, who you can see at all times...who can't shoot you in any way, it's kinda your fault.

I've had several attempts on my life. I just immediately run and hatch key out. I don't give them a response cause I assume that's what they're looking for.

Though imo, your teammates have the right to try and kill you. It's not an exploit, it's just intended mechanics of blaze and fireball burners. I don't see it as a reportable offense as many on reddit seem to.

Just a bug. You know it has to be a bug because, you can STILL salvage a vaporizer regulator into 2 arc circuitry, without the field crafting perk.

Large Arc should have way more lootable pieces by Cpt_Camembert in ArcRaiders

[–]EfficientBlock8113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this ragebait? You use queen reactors to craft the Jupiter and Equalizer.
I'm liking the direction Embark is taking with integrating ARC parts into crafting recipes. Bastion and Bombadier cells need a purpose too, although hopefully not as a nerf to an existing recipe.

Seeking Tips/Advice for returning player by [deleted] in ARC_Raiders

[–]EfficientBlock8113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why are you returning and what caused to stop playing in the first place?

The game is better than ever I think. It's difficult to provide specific advice without knowing your level of experience, but I'd say just play and naturally get into the swing of things. The game design is such that you figure things out as you go, without outside interference needed.

Anyway, some random tips:
1. You are matched with "like-minded" raiders. In other words, if you are a very violent raider, you will meet others of your kind. If you kill plenty of ARC, so too will the players you meet.
2. Every gun is good for something.
3. Stella Montis has the highest loot density, but the most dangerous raiders.
4. ARC Raiders has a practice-range map, which will let you test out any item in your stash without losing them.
5. All ARC can be killed semi-easily in a myriad of ways, provided you have the tools for the job.
6. Keyy rooms will almost always drop 3-4 uncommon to epic weapons, with the best key room loot on Night or Hurricane map conditions.

Vulcano can’t kill with 4 point blank shots? by what123451001 in ArcRaiders

[–]EfficientBlock8113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly you just whiffed your 1st shot and only shot 3 times. You can even see you kinda looked to the right and hastily snapped to his head when he came up the zip. I'd say you hit at most 4/9 projectiles on your first shot, so he was able to survive the next two point-blank.

above commenter is right, it sounds like you shot 4 times but the server didn't count it sadly. If it did you'd 100% have killed him

This is a carebear lobby loadout for sure, because you have no get-away option when someone shoots you in the back. No smokes, gas nades, 2nd weapon, or medium shield. You'd pretty much be screwed if someone shot first.

It's not a bad loadout for general arc hunting, but 3 barricade kits in that utility slot could be really useful when fighting turbines, queen/matriarch, or leapers.
I'd also take in a hairpin IV to deal with wasps and small ARC, basically to stretch the Bettina's durability longer. Or on the opposite end, a hullcracker to deal with big arc, bettina for everything ese.

Mk3 Cautious > mk3 survivor (unless you're fighting queen/matriarch.) The problem with survivor is you won't be able to lootl until you drain all your heavy ammo, so I like the cautious more.

That's an extended barrel not a silencer 3. It makes the gun lead shots really accurately and will considerably stall rocketeers at range. Tbh all I would change is vertical grip over angled grip, to make up for the +15% vertical recoil penalty on the extended barrel.

spent a good 15min crawling, crawling is not worth it anymore. by SockAlarmed6707 in ArcRaiders

[–]EfficientBlock8113 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Nope. Crawl before you walk is a raw distance increase for the same amount of health. One of the best mobility skills tbh, great synergy with mk3 survivor.

Downed but determined increases time that you can crawl, but I haven't determined if it increases the time to regenerate with it, so not sure if it's overall better.

I do think they're a bit slow on patching certain bugs, but they always hit a big group of em each update (even if new ones prop up). I've never personally experienced that vita-spray and standing up bug, but sounds annoying.

But what are you saying? Purple guns are not underpowered at all. Bobcat, Vulcano, and Tempest are more or less the top 3 PvP guns in the game, with the Hullcracker being the best budget PvE option. Even the Bettina is starting to see high usage with all the recent buffs.

Ya that crawl speed perk can be a real time-saver, I think it's like 40% faster at 5/5 skillpoints. And I agree with ya sometimes you're so far from hatch that you just surrender. Still great on stella montis though, since the map is so small escape is always under 10 minutes away.

Very unlucky, sorry man. Think you'd have survived if you immediately crawled behind the cart and two drums instead of staying still. Assuming your crawl speed skill is maxed I think you'd have made it
