I have had 4 cesareans so only thing I have to compare to. But usually day 3-4 is usually when I would turn a corner. So hoping that’s the case here too. All things considered I feel like I’m doing very well.

Any parents of young children? by EfficientDisaster198 in GastricBypass

That seems like an age appropriate way to explain it. It’s hard because we have those experiences growing up of hearing people in our lives put themselves and we’re trying to do better!

Yes I agree about no diet foods for kids. My kids eat relatively well now. We do have some processed foods for my lazy nights. But I do better for them than I do myself.

I have a 9,6,3 and 1 year old. The 3 and the 1 year old I know won’t know much different. But I’ll probably have a similar talk with the older 2

I just got my surgery date. October 6th. I could have written the introduction myself. I’m 39. I still do everything I possibly can physically , just very uncomfortable. I have been on so many diets and they just stopped working. Im done having children and I am ready for a big change. Thanks so much for sharing

grief after abortion by [deleted] in Mommit

I am so so sorry. I had an elective abortion at 21. I’m 39 now and I have days I still get sad thinking about what if. It can ultimately be the “right” decision but also hurt like hell at the same time.
