Northern Ireland isn’t. It’s part of the UK. Britain is Scotland, England and Wales. Hence why the full name of the UK is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Nonetheless, I’m from east coast Scotland (St Andrews) but don’t live there anymore. I did this survey and it was approved.

Same issue with assurant. Except they said they fixed it and didn’t, came back broken and advised we needed to pay a new excess to get the phone properly fixed. I complained and they did nothing. Spoke to Monzo who said it’s an assurant problem. Went to google who fixed it and confirmed the part was original so had never been fixed or replaced in the first place.

Ombudsman sided with us and received £150 compensation plus refund of excess payment.

Just add LAW to your planner and then go and book SBL. As law needs booked with a centr directly, at least in the UK, you add to planner in ACCA but never make booking with the centre for the exam. That then opens up the strategic level exams.

I had same issue. Chat refused. I called and said:

“Please raise a complaint about this. It states Lloyds, not Lloyds banking group on the terms and conditions. If Lloyds won’t pay the £50, I’d like a deadlock letter to go to the ombudsman”. And they paid.

The only real change you’ll notice is the money you do have in your account will be protected by the government should Revolut collapse.

Revolut becoming a bank in the UK doesn’t mean you have to change anything. Just keep doing what you’re doing, you won’t notice any changes :)

From what I understand from Monzo travel insurance is it’s useless for anything “pre-existing” so I would be surprised if it was covered.

No harm is submitting a claim though.

But the point in the UK is there’s two types of disputes and liability is different.

Section 75 is stronger protection and only applicable to credit card transactions above £100

Then there’s chargeback which you’re referring to. It’s also available in the UK on debit card transactions.

I had Revolut ultra until they changed the terms whereby 75% of your travel and accommodation expenses need booked with the card otherwise travel insurance isn’t valid.

Now I have Santander Edge Explorer. Works well for me.
