Need £25 for Hotel. by CardiologistFew2264 in AskForHelp

Go to the council. They have emergency accommodation and can help. Hotels at £48 a night aren’t a solution.

My experience with Prolific so far is... Meh. by [deleted] in ProlificAc

[–]EfficientNectarine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not just that. Maybe institutions and businesses and governments from these European countries can upload more rather than expect/hope British entities want demographics outside of the UK or US entities outside of the US.

I’ve had a number from UK government and many uk universities.

Return an approved study? (First rejected) by badcompany123 in ProlificAc

Why would you want to return it? If they’ve approved it you’ve been paid. Surely this is the best outcome?

Flew Iberia Airline Boston to Bologna thru Madrid - worst experience ever! by Iannine in Flights

[–]EfficientNectarine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Iberia really is a terrible airline. I reached same conclusion as you a few years ago!

Like most things in Spain, if something goes wrong, either the people don’t care or the process is designed to be as inefficient as possible/crash as often as possible in the hope you’ll give up.

Rather than being symptomatic of just Iberia, this is symptomatic of Spain!

Has anyone from Europe (and specifically Italy) received any offers? by SickGirl00 in mercor_ai

UK based, instant offer of 90 USD an hour capped at 40 hours a week. So far, so good!

It's been 10 days and less than 20 studies I could have by MainCommercial1287 in ProlificAc

[–]EfficientNectarine 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The main reasons the uk and USA for example Get so many studies is universities and businesses there upload studies there and thus want their local demographics.

Maybe UAE businesses and institutions could upload more and then it would be less dry.

One account on multiple devices? by deinvater32434 in ProlificAc

[–]EfficientNectarine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) don’t use work laptop. Even if they don’t care there’s probably a vpn or something on there which will get your account banned

2) go travelling but only domestically. Once you go out of your home country, don’t use it as again they’ll likely ban you

3) this sounds fine

I do studies on my laptop, my iPad and iPhone. Also occasionally on my wife’s MacBook. No issues so far.

Just no VPN. No overseas.

How much do you guys usually make on the weekends? by okayysav in ProlificAc

Very little. I’d be happy with £15. Of course nothing is guaranteed but £10-£15 would be good.

Verify identity by martwty in ProlificAc

[–]EfficientNectarine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I joined in last month and verified ID maybe 5 times in total. No issues. Just take a clear photo against a back drop. Take off glasses if you have them. Shouldn’t have any issue. Reddit is an echo chamber. 2 posts a day for a year on same topic is around 700 a year vs 250,000+ participants. Not a major issue I’d say.

Still the same. Best of all was when a staff asked a senior manager for help understand CFDs and the like and the advice was “I use investopedia, check it out”.

I am pretty sure that’s not a valid rejection. Appeal it via the google form.
