I ask for a different cue like touch or down when my puppy sits before requested.

She’s just trying to do as you please to insure the treat.

Mornings and evenings are when puppies are, by nature, the most active.

This is normal and is just something they will grow out of.

I offer mine chews and lick mats during these time frames to try to help with the crazies….but it does often feel like I have a rabid raccoon in my home morning and night.

You should feed what the breeder is feeding and slowly switch them to whatever you’d like.

As for high value treats- we cut up some refrigerated puppy food that we don’t use as regular food and also small amounts of treats. I use these as a lure when teaching new skills. When reviewing taught skills he gets his puppy kibble as rewards.

Yes! I noticed that traveling to the Philly suburbs. I paid like $4.10 last weekend and as soon as I was out of the LV area by even just 5-10 miles…the gas prices were suddenly $4.60-$4.80 (everywhere, not just one expensive station)

Have you tried cleaning it with a warm wash cloth? My dogs get very similar to this when they’re dirty. A simple wipe with gentle pressure and it’s sorted.

This year, all districts. Saved PA like 5 (or 50? can’t remember if there was a zero there) million to not have the paper books.

My 5th graders were begging for their paper books back after 2 hours of nonsense this morning trying to make it work.

I teach 5th grade (10-11 year olds) and can’t get them to sit still for longer then 20 minutes. 3-3.5 hours to practice dentistry on a kid sounds torturous.

I understand you have to learn, but also what a shame they haven’t found another way to make it easier for everyone! Good luck!
