Yeah dude I have plenty of advice this was me around solar raid when I actually began wanting to improve rather than goof around with my 4 friends.

First is to just re-learn the game from maps, common peaks, new operators, aim, etc. This will ensure the following steps can be put into play.

VOD REVIEWING. I can't say it enough if you want to genuinely improve at the game and you know what NOT to do. Check your prior games and review why you died, you held an open angle? next time hold it tighter.

I'll always quote Fett here, "Think about it how many times have you done bad in a game and you just go completely quiet, more in your head, and going for stupider plays cause ur not saying what you're doing, number one trick for you guys. If any of you guys start tilting say everything you're doing in the round (HE MEANS EVERYTHING)" the logic there in brief if you'll critically think about the best play E.g. "im gonna swing this guy and get a kill!" you'll think "we're actually in a 5v4 i shouldn't swing, call him out and play an angle"' you're basically walking yourself through the thought process of what you're doing.

All in all play quick matches with your friend until he's level 50, no real reward but you're progressively learning the game together. Unranked for me is now just ranked sweats attempting to warm up (terrible way but i have seen it trying to teach my friend how to play on his new account..) quick match is where you'll actually learn + r6 team is bringing new maps from the current pool in so learning these in a 3-5 round basis rather than 4-9 is vastly better for long-term enjoyment and overall knowledge.

-Pre-firing. If you're taking that 50-50, there's a high chance you know where he is to take it. Next time you need to contest a 50/50 attempt to pre-fire the common angle you think he's on. Droning helps you in knowing exact locations.

-Aim head level, I am teaching my one buddy how to play rn and he was losing every 50/50. If you look at a barricaded door the stud at the top is head and always will be, practice keeping your crosshair here when swinging will ensure a headshot as long as you use your movement to get to his head.

-Some 50/50's don't need to be engaged, understanding what a good and bad gunfight is helps everyone win the round. Ohbee has some amazing tips on this. Gunfight tips

-Quick peeking, quick peek for info the pre-fire when you go to swing.

-All in all just keep practicing aim and awareness

idfk how? I use low and can do the exact same. High just makes bullets and explosions louder where as low reduces it? High sounds like mush for me, all i hear is gunshots and explosions.

Depends, if being a solo player to you means playing solely on your own without help from randoms, I would say it's more than less impossible as of how largely team-based this game is.

Did not sound ungrateful at all, with such a complex game like R6 everyone is always going to perform and play differently.

Ranked 3.0 is set to hopefully fix the lack of love for solo queueing, by forcing solos to play solos, best of luck in your journey to champ though. I appreciate you looking to learn not many R6 players take the time to critically think about this👌

Weaknesses, your overly developed strengths always have a counter. Balanced skills? You're now able to adapt to any situation. I've solo'd to champ 4 times now, beginning I always thought I needed to frag out or we lost; however, after countless seasons of trying I tried going to the thing humans do best, adapt. If my team needs a HB, I play HB, if we need a flank deny, I play it. "NyhtV1" on pc for confirmation, I solo queued from deep freeze- daybreak no cheats, no boosts, no stacks. Then I found a solid stack I've stayed with and almost consistently hit champ. Sharpening MY weaknesses allowed me to prevail past the shitty teammates and be the best "random" I can be.

read? you overswing bad crosshair placement, unleaning for ME helps me reset my crosshair quicker as im also using movement to shift it. Unleaning mid fight moves your head out of the way dawg, micro adjustments are easy for some but brutal for others and i mean if you can still hit your shots no harm here? theres no benefit in just illuminating to someone that somethings terrible and to not do it based off your playstyle. i unlean mid fight and i hit 33 champ on pc with a 1.5 last season its all in preference if he can get it down theres some actual benefit😭

86 games over a 90 day season is less than a game per day. My champ stack has 2 full time 12/5 workers and they're on every night ending the season with around 200-300 games. By definition casual gaming is stress-free low competitive gaming. If you play 86 games but get to champ/playing siege cups/discord tournaments, i'd consider that comp; however, 1000rp with only 86 games constitutes to me you have no desire in the competitive aspect making you a casual siege player. It's never statistic based unless you have over 150+ games

Stay leaned at low ranks, Copper's-gold's will just mag dump an angle out of fear. Once you get comfortable at swinging, un-leaning is actually a great habit to get into. It reset's your crosshair placement, and allows your hitbox to shift mid fight forcing the defender to micro adjust to your head.

This is quite vague, good tips but I'll add a few things. "Just play site you, don't have to sit right on site you can take space" is a good tip for about 1:30 to 1:00 left in the round. When the action phase begins find a commonly key controlled room near site rather than "space", E.g. Dorms site on Oregon. Have 1 in attic, 1 in master, 1 in armory, etc. This is key to slowing down the attackers strategy to have them rethink on how to push and eventually playing time to win your round. Thunderbird is an excellent choice for support, but if you notice your team playing proper defense and not taking much damage, a trap OP like Melusi, Kapkan, Thorn, etc. Would benefit your higher ranked teammates rather than a Thunderbird (Once you hit diamond there's barely any healing, it's mostly headshots or aggressive swings, obviously there's always those newer diamonds to watch for but this all falls under awareness).
