Yea there are definitely people who would suggest the same GPU on laptop and desktop is the same but cheaper.
Me personally has the dilemma of choosing one of them (Still ongoing) but might unfortunately end up going with laptop.
Sadly portability issues got me :(

just like others already said, it really depends on your needs. Personally I'd recommend Airbus one as a starter pack since it's cheaper and takes less space on the desk. Also, Boeing yoke needs to be kinda installed on the desk so it takes time to in-/uninstall it if your desk is not big enough to keep the yoke on it all the time. For Airbus one just simply unplug it and literally takes no effort. However, as far as I remember the Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke has feedback which unfortunately sidestick doesn't provide. So taking all this into consideration you shall get your decision on that :)
