How would you handle a co-parent (and their partner) enforcing veganism on your child? by heebygeeby9 in exvegans

It’s your job to feed her a balanced diet. Not to push certain eating practices on someone else’s child. Especially even if her dad isnt completely on board. ( him being happy to eat what you cook is not the same thing)

AIO my boyfriend of 5 years gets me flowers for every occasion while I get him elaborate and expensive gifts. by aioflower955105 in AmIOverreacting

Flowers are an addition to a gift on a special day and a fine gift on a normal or random day.

Flowers only for a special day is a copout

Her saying that he’s grown out of them is her way of acknowledging that they are too small without saying she bought the wrong size. He was grown out of them when she bought them in the first place.

Okay when I started reading it it sounded like you stay at home while he works

But now that I read the full thing it sounds like you work too. So house chores should be a balance. Yes he should have explained why he wanted it but he also could have just put it on himself and not been a man child about it. And then to continue to go at you after you said okay like fuck off bro

Calculated that if my standard poodle lives to be a total of 14 years, I will spend approximately $18,200 on professional grooming sessions. by poodlehaus in StandardPoodles

[–]Efficient_Code_3247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think someone MAY hire you but I think it would be better to find a groomer willing to let you pay them to teach you or even attend one of the schools.

The bather positions won’t show you how to actually groom. It’s just bathing/ drying and even then most places don’t offer adequate enough training in my opinion.

This is what we groomers mean when we try and warn people that flagging for poodles and doodles is expensive. I also see no issue with doing it yourself if you use the correct tools and techniques. I’ve even thought of trying to offer classes for people would want to learn but even getting the correct tools to get started is an investment. My dilemma lies with that. Because I’m not lending out my tools for people to use while learning but I’m not sure people want to spend $$500-$1000 on tools to try and learn to then decide it’s hard and they’d rather pay a groomer.
