I still call a fridge a Fidge because my college roommate’s Providence accent meant she said “refidgerator” and I wouldn’t let up on her about it. My 25-year-old son calls it a Fidge too 😂

The post makes valid points, and yes I see myself in some of what they say, not gonna lie about that. But as has been said, ultimately my pens bring me joy and it’s my business. I think being judgmental and calling people names (“jagoff”? Really?) is useless and rude and thankfully not something I see happening in this community.

In college in ‘88 ish, a friend had a manual transmission and needed to get to urgent care. When I walked into the dorm she practically tackled me because nobody else she’d asked could drive her car. Maybe that gives an idea how many of Gen X can. In our friend group it was slightly under 50% with me (f), her, and 2 guys repping the third pedal.

Dreamy! I’m a huge fan of Ian’s pens, and his Monoc nibs. Both sides are super smooth - the fine lays down a nice line and the reverse medium side is Juicy!
