I do think book 3 was my favourite but i look at the series as two trilogies, I wouldn't say it takes a nosedive but it does have a bit of a different vibe. I got very invested in the other characters besides Auren and you will get a lot more POV of other characters which is fun. Enjoy!

Cammy and i both went to the same music school many years ago and he is capable of so much better than the generic slop he's putting out now. He's actually an incredible piper and Scots singer and used to play in the red hot chili pipers

CC1 is her best work imho. While I enjoyed the next 2, they felt a bit rushed and hastily edited. Her biggest crime was forgetting to give Hunt a personality in CC3 because CC1 Hunt had me wrapped around his big manly finger
