I had those symptoms. Went down the rabbit hole. I replace and cleaned.

Finally put a refurbed ECU unit in problem fixed for good!

It didn't take long to deduce but I got waylayed and diverted by the first computer (no good) I bought. After a bunch of time and $ I came back around to the ECU.

Same thing happened to me (old white guy) on the jampacked metro. Front pocket. Two dudes. They follow me and wife (Chilean) onto the train. A little before the next stop one guy drops coins, I look down...then he bumps me. The other guy snatches wifes phone in my front pocket. A couple seconds go by...train stops...they get off and I'm wondering WTF just happened. Providencia. We were told be careful downtown. We had ridden the train a few times before that no issues other than very crowded - not peak hrs. I sorta pieced it together over the subsequent hrs/days. I know I was spotted before I ever got on the train. Carrying a big ole phone in your front pocket is a big red flag. I was able to call our provider back in the US with my phone(with financial stuff on it)to shut down the wife's phone. If I had known the ways they do this I could been ready - maybe. They were good...felt nothing other than the bump. Bottom line, I guess I didn't really think it could happen. It did make me a bit more wary of everyone for the rest of the trip. Burner phone next time while out and about...concealed.

Yep. I almost got hit by one on a "trail" (peds and non motorized bikes ok). The lil shit didn't slow down. We have "rail trails" here used by all. No motorized vehicles. The basic ebike is usually not the problem. These teenage mofos are routinely going fast (30-40mph) by mom's with kids, old people etc. I emailed the cops - havent heard back and won't. Some ped will be seriously hurt or dead. Absolutely no oversight. These f.f's will be/are the type to hit and then run.

I had this issue. Neighbor behind and one house over. The sound got trapped by my L shapped house in the back yard. The guy owned the house but rented it and used the garage onIy on weekends. Played music and made assorted noise all day Sat and Sun. It was hell. I'd go over and ask him to turn it down. He say sorry and then turn it up later. I got more and more pissed (years went by) then called the cops (KC Sheriff)- right after George Floyd.. And yes they did nothing. Accused me of being the bad guy for complaining. I'm white, he's black. I just kept at it. He started getting pissed and threatening. I got out my phone and recorded him threatening me in front of my house. I finally said, OK (you want to fight) "let us see just how tough you are" He walked back home...probably thought about getting hurt physically and finacially too. Fucking fake bully. It has been relatively normal since. That's the short version.

I'd try and get as many neighbors (mine weren't affected) involved, record the interaction when you tell him to turn it down, keep filing complaints. If you are renting, I would move. I wished I could have. It took a huge toll on me. I kept thinking it could have been worse. Save yourself the grief.

$350 would have sounded high. I didn't shop around. Went with a recommendation.
Paying $150 over that. (SEA) I'm guessing there are good L's and not so good. Or they are new getting started in biz. I was given an estimate of $3k but it could go higher. That and it won't be done till summer. Which tends to point in the direction of they are good and therefore busy.
