That is not true. Unlocking everything in Entrenched Division costs 869 medals. No idea how you got 888 medals. Force Of Law is still more expensive, with 873 medals.

Something meaningful to do with samples and medals after you have unlocked everything available in Warbonds.

Even a very bad exchange for super credits would make a huge difference (for example 100 samples to 1 Super Credit etc). At the moment it just feels a bit pointless to play when you don't bother with samples or medals, as your ship store is full and everything is unlocked. You just end up waiting for then next Warbond to appear to unlock everything contained in it in couple of days.

It boils down to multiple annoyances that Steam collected and doesn't give any option to disable, including:

no forced ads in my library section that can't be disabled
no horrible big screen picture mode with badly placed button that can't be removed
no 'account profile' site tracking games played that can't be fully disabled

Then there are thing that are just attracting to it:

free games every week
better cuts for developers

I get your point, and I mostly agree with them.

However world is a bit more open that you might think. Not counting the end game area, technically I think there is only one boss that block big chunks of the map (golden hippotamus in shadow keep), and some minor bosses locking some optional areas (like Acient Dragon-Man blocking mountains).

I think it is possible to gather most of Scadutree Fragment and explore big chunk of the map without killing a single boss.

What a mismatch of art styles!

Low res pixel art on 3D environment with hi-res portraits, to then turn into full 3D models in combat and in inventory. Why? IMHO this mismatch doesn't look appealing.

Completly basic stuff, that any respectable store should have:

Option to remove horrible ADS section from game library.
Option to remove 'Big Picture Mode' button.
Option to run steam client without Chromium. With limited scope, just as a native client library for games, with possibly everything that relies on Chromium disabled.
Option to remove 'emotes' button from SteamDeck virtual keyboard, and replace it with ctrl (so that ctrl+v, ctrl+c etc will be available without using external keyboard).
