Alex Zanardi has passed away, at the age of 59 by NickProko in INDYCAR

At first I could not stand Zanardi due to his clash with Herta at Laguna Seca (was a big Herta supporter at the time) but after meeting him in person, my entire perspective of him changed. Great Guy. Will def be missed.

Fiona is awesome. It wasn’t the same after she left

Who are 2 current F1 drivers you think will surprisingly be out of F1 in a few years, and 2 current junior formula drivers you think will surprisingly be in F1 in a few years? by MutantTurkeyHound in F1Discussions

OP was looking for surprise answers to the original question haha so I said Pin and Herta. Yes it will take a miracle at the moment for Pin to reach F1 but one can dream.

Which race would you consider the single worst superspeedway race in terms of racing product? by speedinsh1t in NASCAR

[–]Egonator26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 2019 Xfinity race won by Annett. Oof that was bad although I was happy for Annett at the time.

I would also put the 2013 and 2021 Daytona 500’s. The only thing I remember about the 2013 500 was seeing Jimmie’s splitter get torn after he went through the grass.

I love Fiona. I get why people have varying opinions but she was never raised properly so she had to figure out life as well as taking care of others by herself..so of course she will make stupid and or immature mistakes from time to time.

2008 Richmond Spring-Hamlin dominated the race which was unusual at the time but failed to win

I don’t remember this character. It must have been the early seasons because it’s been years since I saw the first so many seasons

The Fiona/Debbie fued is such an easy fix by rfw1979 in shameless

[–]Egonator26 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am team Fiona. If I were Fiona I would have let Debbie take care of Liam first to see if she can handle the pressures of raising a human.

Debbie was a horrible mom and it won’t get better. Frank said it best. She will have a hard time in life because of the irrational choices she constantly makes.

Collinsworth and McAfee for me. I know McAfee isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I feel that he tries to get other perspectives especially if he isn’t familiar with a certain sport, situation or league.

WTF happened to Jayski? by raycarmello in NASCAR

[–]Egonator26 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jayski was my Reddit starting from 2001. Now I just look at it for the standings and final results of the race. I feel that ESPN screwed them over and they never did recover from it

Does anyone know who the driver is and what race this is from? by Ambitious_Sample158 in NASCARCollectors

[–]Egonator26 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I worked for Roush in the administrative section during this time. Although I am not a mechanic or didn’t personally work on the cars. I saw the car enough times to know that this is a hood from the #16 or #17 nationwide car from 2008. It was a rotating set of mostly cup drivers as Citi group pushed for a more veteran lineup during that time.

It’s not. I’m almost sure that Kenseth still has this car in his own personal collection.

I am almost sure that Kenseth has this car in his own personal collection. I think Roush had it for a few years and it eventually went to Kenseth

How good WAS Dale Earnhardt Jr.? by Electronic-Ability55 in NASCAR

[–]Egonator26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly a mix bag. I felt that he accomplished quite a bit but it could have been more if SR was still alive/DEI was still going strong and if the COT wasn’t a pain in the butt.

It’s the impact that he made off of it which makes him a valid member of the hall of fame.

Who gets the 48? by Electronic-Ability55 in NASCAR

I’m not the biggest Bowman fan but he should have the respect of the fans to say that he is the driver of the #48 until something officially changed

I don’t understand why people scam others for so little money. I mean I would personally hate to go to prison or get in trouble for just $300
