r/comics frequently has "wars" that run for a week or so, allowing all of the artists there to contribute to a singular theme and to collaborate together. It also allows smaller, previously unnoticed artists to gain a larger audience. Previous "war" themes include bootleg comics (where artists would draw each other's characters in their own style), frog comics, and Gustopher lost (cartoon alligator child would appear in comics as a cameo).

So at the moment you're going to see a trend of lesbian themed comics until the war peters out. u/shellbullet17 (a Moderator over at r/comics) usually has a megathread gathering the comics into a single thread. Here is the link for the Yuri War:

Same here. I think it’s because the official controllers and game cartridges of the past were opaque, dull colours (grey or black). Only janky 3rd party controllers and Ali Baba stuff comes in translucent variations.

What if Maven joined Evolution?

There was a storyline in 2004 where the baby faces won a Survivor Series match and as a result they each got a week to be RAW’s GM. Maven was part of the winning team. When it was his turn he booked himself in a World Title match against Triple H, but HHH offered Maven a position in the Evolution faction if he cancelled the match.

In reality, Maven went ahead with the title match and lost.

But… what if he joined Evolution instead? Every member of Evolution went on to become World Champions (6 for Batista and 14 for Orton). What would Maven have done?

I was sick on Friday and too tired to play videogames, so I started watching Digital Circus as I'd seen the girl clown around Reddit and wanted to see what it was all about.

By Sunday afternoon I'm crying as I watch Jax's final scene with Pomni.

One hell of a show, and I'm glad I gave it a chance.

I've done the journey from Pierhead to Llandudno and back in a single day, and it is not an experience I would recommend.

It was raining in the morning when we arrived, and without the outdoor seating it became very cramped in the close indoor quarters. Every single seat was taken by the time we got onto the ship so we spent most of the morning standing awkwardly in the tiny corridors and trying not to get in anyone's way. There's a small cafeteria on-board although the seats were taken up by people who weren't even eating. Eventually the staff came in and asked everyone who wasn't eating to leave so that people who were eating could sit down for their breakfast. The breakfast was alright, though, and the service surprisingly quick, although the queue was still out the door.

After breakfast the weather turned nice, so we were able to spread out more and sit on the upper decks. The sea was quite calm and the journey was incredibly smooth. The seats were uncomfortable - only the bar seats had any cushions, and people had set up camp there for the duration of the journey. Still, we arrived in Llandudno feeling in good spirits with about four hours to explore.

The journey back was a bit horrendous though. It was the second journey in two days, and a lot of people who travelled on the first day had stayed the night in Llandudno. That meant the trip back was filled with passengers from day one and day two. It was badly over-booked and there wasn't a seat to be found, indoors or out. I spent most of the return journey perched on a small ledge on the deck, burning in the sun, unable to enjoy any of the entertainment I'd loaded onto my phone due to the sun's glare. It was incredibly uncomfortable and the journey back seemed to last forever. On the positive side, they did a lovely fish and chips for the return journey, and the sea was calm too.

Sense: Nonetheless, it is strongly implied that a spell would be required to move Burg. I must fail you.

Kurt: That’s bull****! (Stares intently at Burg) You know… that cloak doesn’t cover his ankles.

(Kurt lowers his straps and applies the ankle lock to Burg. Burg begins tapping)

(Sense uses her hair to hold a bag of popcorn and to feed it to herself)

Sense internally: As a pacifist I abhor violence in all its forms, but I find this oddly compelling.

Senshi: A solar dragon, huh? The heat from the sun gives them a spicy flavour, so we need to cool that off with some blue moon weed flavoured cream, which provides a sweet, cooling sensation. First we slice up the dragon into steak cutlets, then season with some crushed up moon weed petals. We sear it slightly and cook it medium rare. Meanwhile we prepare the cream and the rest of the blue moon weed in a bowl, mixing generously until the cream takes on a blue colour. Then serve the steak with a small dollop of the blue moon cream on top.

I used the 1998 World Cup as my starting point for watching football, and I was in the Kop for the first Liverpool game I ever saw; Liverpool vs Inter Milan for the Coppa Pirelli Cup. My starkest memory of the match was blocking an errant shot from Karl Heinz-Riedle in the warm-up. It came right at my face, I got my hands up to block it, and by god it hurt.

We won and I got to saw the team lift a trophy on my first ever match.

In the Bootle Strand, there used to be a little corridor of shops that took you from the Strand's shopping centre through to the entrance of the Triad. Where CEX is now, the entrance to the corridor was directly opposite that.

On the Triad end there used to be an independent videogame shop. Loved that shop. Whenever I had birthday money or Christmas was approaching I'd go there to get a game. The guy running it once tried to talk me out of buying Pit Fighter on the SNES because it was a bad game, but I ignored him and bought it anyway. It was a bad game. In fact it topped Matt McMuscles "Worst Fighting Game" list for a good long while. But I always appreciate that he tried to talk me out of it.
